Possibly because they acknowledge that injuries and absences of numerous key players for extended periods have contributed to the table position and season, (which BTW is why I believe Vic was also pissed off the other game).
Horseshit. People being hoodwinked into accepting the shitshow that has been this season constant moaning over injuries, pitches god knows what else. We have constant injuries since 1st 10 games last year and nothing has changed. Nor will it under ange. We need a squad of 30 top top players to play his style. Wont happen

As I understand it Terzic was considered in the event we had to fire Ange mid season. He was break glass in an emergency . Now that there's no real threat and the season has petered out with relegation not on Terzic is long list. Bournemouth are going to dig in on Iraola but we are in for him.
Iraola has done fantastic with the Cherries, but no guarantee he'd be a hit here. Seems to be a real structure & strategy in place at Bournemouth, directors working hand in hand to begin with...and a real togetherness between the players, who don't look like selfish, egotistic cry babies who shit the bed when the going gets tough. Now at Spurs on the other hand...

ok mate. Its a worse squad than last season. This squad is 6 at best fully fit. Minus the injuries and you're looking at 10th, maybe. We're 13th. Either way we're not winning shit.

Berg is the new golden boy and immune from criticism. Commentator today saying how impressed he was how he turned it around after his OG last week. If Sarr, Johnson or Maddison did the same not a word would be said.

He played well today but I find his preferential treatment on here and in the media baffling. Examples like the witch-hunt on vicario when he screamed at berg for a mistake early in the season. Would people on here have had the same response if it was Johnson? Of course not.

Was that in Berg's first or second start when he was still 18?

Good to get through and it at least keeps the season interesting. Thought it was fairly predictable as a game, chaotic, give up chances, poor game management but enough going forwards to get the result. There is definately something to work with player wise though, there is some real talent there but it just needs a better structure/coaching. I dont think things are as bleak as this season suggests if we make the right decisions at the end of May.
But look at the facts though. It was only chaotic once VDV went off? Part of that is having to bring on an 18 year player who isn't a CB and is our 6th choice. Prior to that, there was no chaos, we completely dominated them and controlled everything.

What? Of course he's not immune to criticism, but I think people realize he's a 19-year-old kid, in his first season in a proper league, whos been playing in a very depleted side that is lacking confidence. The mistake was a bit of a freak one, he's passing it back to vicario and odobert continues running and it catches him. Its a weird one that 99/100 doesn't happen. Bar that he was excellent yesterday and if you cannot recognise that then you really must just have no joy in your life. Johnson is a another story, he's 23, big money and a player who people have a lot of frustration with.

We only lost to the Goons by a corner goal, but we won 5 games in a row after that game and in September and October when we had most players available we won 9 and lost 2.
If key players stay fit we will win most of the rest of our games.

Just want 2 things to happen this season: 1. Winning EL
2. Ange being gone from Spurs no matters what

As long as both of them happens, i dont care about order in which they happen.

If you collapse because 1 player has to be subbed there is something wrong. We have spells where we just cough up chances in every game no matter who plays, it happened plenty of times end of last season and start of this with VDV. Its not down to 1 defender its down to lack of control, game management and teams just bypassing our midfield. It was also AZ Alkmaar.

Bingo. It is systemic. We are incredibly forward tilted and always looking to push forward. But this comes with the side effect that we lack a lot of structure and control in general. On some level Micky is key to the system because his speed is meant to shore up the defense if we lose the ball further up the field.

But building a system around having a CB that can clock ridiculous top speeds and risking his already iffy hamstrings is incredibly risky.

Looks like we are stuck with him for another month at least.

Delighted to go through but still think it'll be all for nothing. We will get battered by the first decent side we face, although lucky for us and Ange, there aren't many left in the competition.

Last night was just chaotic football. There is absolutely no tactics, plan or control, as there hasn't been since Ange arrived. It is you have a go we have a go. It's basically a really shite version of Bielsa's football.

We won because we have a better team than AZ, by a huge margin. Yet we still scraped through 3-2. The chances we cough up every single game are just criminal.

We are honestly the worst managed / coached Spurs side I have seen in 40 years.

The way we play I just can't see us winning this trophy. But in football anything can happen. If we do it will be pure luck.

Just want him gone honestly, just so sick of him.

losing to fulham and chelsea 'should' do it, that sees us sink even further. we are a few bad results away from being 16th!!!
