Probably missing most if not all of this because I'm going to be stuck in a car on a roadtrip... with my Fulham supporting brother.

Should be fun following this through live score.

I am really looking forward to, after this game, reading the same old "experts" saying, "It's only Fulham" and "The goals we scored were lucky."
We shall score a deuce.
Son and Oddjob.

As International break follows no need to rest players although to win we will need fresh legs. I would bring in Udogie, Bentencur, Gray & Tel. Gray could finally be tried in midfield with Bergvale suffering cramp. Need to get match fitness into Romero, VDV & Solanke.
Vic
Porro, Romero, VDV, Udogie
Bentencur, Gray, Maddison
Odobert, Solanke, Tel
We seem to lose just before an international break and time to reverse this & win.

There's another unspoken rule to playing reasonably seriously in most of the remaining PL games.

There is a reason Spurs just cant send out every youngster for a day of experience,as tempting as that may well be at times like this.

People actually pay with real money and their time to watch these games. I think it is reasonable to expect those putting on the entertainment are at least on the surface respectful of this fact.

Sure a few games through the season for very real reasons is acceptable perhaps. However effectively playing dead for the whole back end of the season is I think a bridge to far, and many wouldn't accept this.

Kinsky, Udogie, Porro, Bentancur, Sarr, Johnson, Werner, Tel, Son

Tel or Moore in for Son, Scarlett to get a bunch of minutes. Gray in at CDM. Wouldn’t change the rest to start with but look to bring off Spence as he looks tired. Full game for Romero maybe 60 again for VDV as he needs protecting more than Romero

Hard game. Fulham are good, above us and we played Thursday.

I think a draw is the best we can hope for unless we are completely at it.

The fantasists are back in town I see. Stupefying arrogance.

I put win for my vote but it’s one of those intentionally deluded votes because why not,

The truth is, this game has every single one of the perfect conditions for us to lose:

Early KO away from home
Sunday after a EL game
Weekend before an international break
Mid block/deep block team that will wait for the spaces we leave regularly.
Can VDV and Romero play 90m?
How much more focused on EL than PL are we?

IMO winning this would probably be a bigger sign of progress than AZ tbh.

Fair. I guess I’m saying how much energy are the players going to find in this one compared to Thursday night?

What kind of rotation will Ange get up to?
With the international break coming up, I would go full strength with this match. I don't mind Tel coming on for Son later in the game, ditto with Johnson and Odobert. Again start with Spence LB, if he tires later bring on Udogie. He might play Gray instead of Porro, or like the others make the substitution later.

He's going to have to rotate more when the international break is over and we're starting off with two games per week for a while. I think he will focus more on EL.
