In fairness I think there was a longer video where the fan was more abusive. Doesn't really matter though, when you lose game after game supporters are obviously going to be angry, some perhaps a bit over the top. But you still have to act professional and ignore it rather than, yet again, confronting the fan like a bloke at the pub who has had a pint or two too many.
Hard to tell because Ange only walked in second or two before.maybe that part was cut

I don't think it's money now. I think it's a case of not having to finish a 3rd season in 6 years with a caretaker.
The league season is absolutely done. We as fans hate losing but we're probably safe being 17 points off relegation with 27 to play for. No chance are Ipswich going to get that now. At one point they had a little bit of fight, but they're done and rolling over most weeks now.

The only thing that'll get him out before the end of the season now is some kind of misconduct. Maybe if fans keep abusing him we could get him to take a swing.

Unlikely though, he keeps his nose fairly clean compared to gobby fucks like Mourinho and Conte.
If Ange isn't sacked fucking early in the close season, we should be worried.
Personally, I want the lot gone, Ange, backroom staff, Lange and Munn. Go.
I still think there is a good chance he wont see the season out. There is too much unrest now. If we go out to Frankfurt we then have Forest and Liverpool. Lose them they'll be so much grief i think they'll have to be seen to do something. The fact by then it being way too late and pointless is very on brand for our board.

I'm not the one who only deals in absolute scenarios like "it has to be this or that"

In the context of who is shit, Ange or Levy? It's both. It's always been both.
In the context of would I rather finish top four or win a cup, it's both, absolutely nothing prevents that from being possible.

It's genuinely dumb to believe you cannot have one without the other.

On the other hand, im not snagging either of Robbie or Theron, am I?

I dunno.

After 25 of years of watching Daniel fail to really 100% back a manager I think if you move to Hollywood, become an actor and eventually star opposite Robbie or Theron you might have a better chance.

I think give yourself a 25 year plan. See if you can outperform Daniel. Good luck.

Hopefully your wife takes the news well.

Who in their right mind signed off on Timo Werner for the 2nd season, after seeing what he'd already dished up for us?

No wonder we're sitting in 15th or 16th! Just another example of how poor much of the decision making has been at the club.

Being honest , I’m struggling to have sympathy for someone getting paid millions & is incapable of his job

I don’t like slagging off players or managers who are at Spurs & I won’t Ange either because I know where the really issue lies at THFC but he is proving time & time again that he is totally out of his depth

I’m pretty sure his Sherwood or keegan moment is yet to come.

We have done well to avoid a proper spanking due to teabs being a bit wasteful.
But ceding possession to Fulham and having not even an attempt on target in 45 mins doesn’t bode well.

Still at leat he played Archie gray at 6 which is exactly what the people wanted. Interested to see if he does that again.

I want him gone. But at this point, it's not going to make a difference. I'd rather see him stay till the end of the season and utterly humiliate himself. Becoming the worse manager the EPL has ever witnessed. Officially known as the biggest clown to have walked into the circus. And he won't have an excuse of not being given enough time or be able to repond with things like "things would have changed if I was given till the end of the season"

Ok, but lets recap yesterdays game for a moment, taking step back from those reactions and emotions.

We came into the game from back of 3:1 win which clearly lifted spirits. After this league game there is international break coming. So it will set the mood, but will also provide rest for many of the players.

Odobert just had his breakout game during week, scoring not once but twice! Also I would say that Sonny and Madders had a good game and had their impact. Odobert and Maddison, mind you, are not called up to national teams either. So maybe just strike while the iron is hot and let them carry their good form into this one?

BUT NO! Ange shockingly decides to drop ALL 3 of them (!) at once (!) in EPL game (!)
So we start off with midfield of Gray-Bissouma-Bentancur. And frontline of Tel-Solanke-Johnson.
First of all midfield - I was happy to see Gray got a chance there finally. That was a nice touch. And I admit, I have been calling for using more than 1 holding player at once. So now Ange shifted from 1 to 3 (!). Okay, bit surprising but can understand at least part of it.
But question raises - it is SO freaking obvious to everyone - Johnson is not one for creation. He hardly takes players on, creates room and sets others up. And on the other wing, we have a new player who has never played on the wing for us before (!) . While Solanke up top is a known quality, question remains- who is supposed to be the driving force in that lineup ?!?! I raised the same question in local Spurs fan FB group too, before the ball was even touched.

Roll on the first half - we look quite solid defensively to be honest. Not much room for Fulham players. We keep them on xG of 0,28 (based on Understat data). On the flipside we create nothing at all ourselves (xG 0,09). But for first half, for me it was fine. Exactly what I forecasted, did happen - not enough creativity. So that needed addressing. In HT at the same FB group, I said that we should do one change - Bissouma off, Madders on. Would have shifted the balance AND given us more direct goal-threat too. Ange paniced a bit, made two changes with Sonny and Bergvall.

Our performance did improve upon that. But in terms of direct goal threat... there was still not enough. And our most productive (!) player in terms of scoring and assisting (Madders) was still left to rot on the bench ?!? ffs? WHY?

And then it went all-out-angeball from here. Our genious-manager decided to also sub off Romero for Maddisson on 69th minute (!). So from start of having 3 holding midfielders, we go to 1. And push 19 yo central midfielder into central defense DURING EPL GAME SECOND HALF ?!? WHAT. WHY? WTF. Which is exactly what was reaction on the field. With that move we lost defensive structure and we also lost midfield structure. It was panic all around, with, again 19 yo midfielder played as CB partnered with our 4th choice CB. All this during EPL game (!) when we had VDV on the bench (!) and Micky is not even called up to national side. So clearly he could have played these damn 21 minutes.

And then inevitable happen. We are a chaos. We condede a goal. We push even higher and concede 2nd goal as well.

I mean WHAT THE FUCK. It is just absurdly pathetic all around. Total and vomit-inducing mismanagement.
Dropping the in form players.
Starting with clearly unbalanced side.
Then panicking and switching it 180 degrees, instead of calculated and normal adjustments.
And then playing in EPL away game with CB pairing of 19 yo midfielder and 4th choice CB while you have 1st choice CB on bench.

It is 100 fucking % on Ange. Just total fucking shitshow and short recap/proof why and how out of depth he is.
Have some fucking dignity to yourself and step down. You clearly cannot do the job ffs.

Excellently broken down.

Simply put, no fcuking need not to start with Maddison, Son and Odobert. Take all 3 off if the job was done.

He might have earned the right to be a PL manager, but tbat clearly doesn't mean he falls outside of some completely incoherent and poor decisions.

We might have lost regardless yesterday, and I accept we would then (maybe) be arguing for him to have rested players, but FFS.

So now it's 17 days, to wait to play our nemesis, with only one outcome incoming.

I think Postecoglou is the luckiest manager to survive such paucity of results, but think there is zero point sacking him until the end if the season, regardless of when we get knocked out of the Europa.

I’m going to throw in what I believe will be a rather unpopular option 4:

If we all take our anti-Ange glasses off, he does speak very well. He has a plan that is different to other managers (presently bad different, but still different). I can see a world where he has a great deal of influence on Levy and Lange, talking positively about the possibilities of a full strength squad, flowing attacking football and using the injuries (whatever the cause) as the reason we haven’t seen the full effect of his master plan.

The only way you can win trophies seems to be spend big money on transfers and big money on wages. Levy is not going to like that, so is maybe hanging on to any slight possibility another way is possible.

For what it’s worth, I can’t see it happening and think we should go another way, but I can certainly see Levy eagerly nodding away whilst Ange charms him into more time in charge.

This argument was valid until the Leicester loss imo. After yesterday this argument actually makes Ange look worse.

If we can’t get results at Fulham and don’t really look like getting results at Fulham, we aren’t going on the type of run that Newcastle had late last season.

The Eddie Howe comparison only made sense if you don't watch football.

Even when results were not going their way, Newcastle still looked like a well coached team. So you know if you keep doing the right thing, the results will pick up.

This isn't the case under Ange at all. We look like a team that aren't coached at all.

Get rid now FFS , if we wait till the end of the season the new manager will take his time assessing the squad and the dead wood we can see as clear as day will still be here next season, and so yet another season fucked.

Yes, he wasn't exactly a master tactician
He's managed literally HUNDREDS of matches. Hundreds in the PL too. Won the FA cup with fucking Pompey.

He was always very happy to put forward a wide boy cockney image but he knows a ton more about tactics than his "run around a bit" implies. He's very switched on about which players to use and in what formation that suits them best.

Sacking him was yet another stupid thing Levy did. You only do that if youve got someone better lined up and boy we most certainly DID NOT.

Coming back to him as in interim, he'd probably be very good. We've got a bunch of good players, just like with Ramos. They were falling apart, just like now. Harry even got us to a final that season having started with 2pts from 24.

Its been an obvious solution, an interim, since Novmeber. Obvious.

On a grand scale maybe not.

But it would be nice to spend 90 minutes of a weekend watching us play some coherent football and get a nice win a few times before the season is out.

It would be nice going into the European games thinking that we had a proper chance of besting a side over two legs.

It should have been done months ago, the way things are panning out has been obvious to many for a long time. Just because we missed the boat on the ideal time, doesn't mean we should ignore the next most ideal time, which is right now.

With Ange in charge, I'm not even that confident of beating Southampton at home tbh.

I have chosen to find the positive in Ange staying , there is only one and it is a massive leap , but it’s all I have . ENIC are selling to Qatar and it will be announced at season end , therefore the next hire should be made by the new owners .

This is clearly bollocks and totally without foundation but when the alternative is

I have decided to take delusion as my path

Can't really see any benefits to persisting with Ange for the remainder of the season. We are just expecting to lose league games at this stage. Its embarrassing and causing reputational damage. 15 league defeats. How can this team ever get back to playing consistently in the league and get in a top 4 race? Our standards are lower than ever.

I'd let Mason finish out the season and then get Iraola in May. Xavi is the only manager available now who would excite me but not convinced Levy will go for it or be able to convince him to join! Iraola will be a slam dunk in May and might make sense to make the big changes then. Can sack Lange and Munn too and just do a proper clear out at the top.

Up until January we had the chance to fire and make an appointment to try and rescue the season.

We're nine or ten games from the end now, top half is pretty much gone. The moment is gone.

There's no point firing Ange now because he's made such a mess there's nothing to rescue.

The table doesn't lie. We are where we deserve to be, with a manager in over his head.
It is lying with Spurs. It's even worse that it looks. Way worse.

look at the form table. Last 15 matches. That doesnt bother with matches that are now irrelevant like wins in August and Spetember.

It's what people shouldve been looking at at the end of last season. OK we got 5th, narrow miss.

My Arse - the last 10 matches we were falling off a cliff with wins only over Forest, Burnley and Sheff Utd. Which is where we are now, with only the relegation teams below us in the form table.

to be fair, that was a theory of why he hasnt already been sacked a while ago....then alan brazil was on talksport the other day saying theres actually a rumour of the club being bought...so it might actually be the reason why.

lets be honest, he should of been sacked ages ago. its madness hes here now, the new ownership wanting a say does make sense of the situation.
