The bald guy is a familiar face for most Spurs fans since he is at every game. Allan Dixon is the first team liaison and handles things like logistics and player safety. He collected Bale and Reguilon at Luton airport when they flew up to sign for us for example. There's also the infamous picture online of him being sent to collect one of our players who was a bit too tipsy out on the town years ago.
He's also apparently Levy's brother in law.

My bad. Misread your post and then saw your post in the Ange thread only after I posted my reply.
Also any time I get a chance to post that pic of Dixon I am going to take it.
I guess Levy could have gone, oh i'm seeing Poch for a coffee, fancy coming along. But I mean he's usually hanging about for a reason to sort things out in the club isn't he.

It ends like shit with every manager we ever hire. To fix that we would need to remove ENIC, not sure we can.
I remember 5th, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th more. At the end he was worn down with having to make do for 5 years and the dissapointment of the CL final. Hopefully Levys learnt a lesson and Poch as well with the shitshows at PSG and Chelsea that the grass isnt always greener (not that i think it will happen)

the last year under poch was painful, we fluked our way to the CL final to paper over cracks too.
this is the manager that thought harry winks was good enough to play CM in the prem...the same player whos now meant to be in his prime years and cant even start for liecester....
Not to mention that like 90% of all managerial runs in football end in disappointment. It is a inherent risk in the world and business of professional sports.

The 2 months into the new season sacking means nothing tbh. He should have been given the season to turn things around and rejuvinate in the january window. Levy jumped the gun massively.
We gave Ange a season and a half to improve.
We gave Poch 3 months off the back of a CL final and top 4 finish. With no transfer backings.
Poch was treated extremely unfairly considering he qualified for europe 4 out of the 5 full seasons he was here

Maybe but it was a different period. The club perhaps arrogantly thought it was now top 4 forever and bringing in someone like Jose would take us to the next level even if in reality the squad needed investment. Ange has come in on the back of massive club failure, sacking him is no longer seen as a quick fix the way sacking other managers perhaps was. If Poch did come back I suspect it’s in a situation where the club has to actually back him this time.
