By my reckoning, what with that Final, and the 2nd leg of the League Cup Semi-Final a few months before against Woolwich were the first early incarnations of Spursy!!!

maybe, but most people back then would just shrug it off (?) .. it was just football and fans didn't really care about what the club finances etc were?

Greaves and Marsh played in a European XI (might explain the weird badge) in 1971 at UP in Geoff Hurst’s testimonial. I can’t think of any other game it could be given the evidence, and I too am fairly sure that’s UP.

Saying all that, it does look slightly later in the 70s.
