Wow! That's a great watch and a great listen. Some fantastic calls that really hit the nail well and truly on the head.

Exactly.I've come across this argument before, people saying 'we aren't big enough to sign big players'. Firstly, history says otherwise & Secondly, the biggest hurdle of making us 'attractive' to 'big' players is our wage-to-profit ratio.
Maybe people don’t think they are wrong? I’m interested in other opinions, as in this case, I believed Levy when he said that the new stadium would lead us into a new era of success. Others didn’t believe that. What did they see that I didn’t? I’m interested to know. It’s the ENIC thread mate , I won’t be losing sleep over peoples opinions though . My post was in response to JT saying that some were intransigent and were defending ENIC out of bloody mindedness. I was articulating , perhaps badly that I really don’t get why people are so reluctant to admit they got something wrong . I was not even specific to purely ENIC, I basically said people get things wrong all the time in life. I just think it strange to be unable to say I got that wrong . As I said I definitely called it wrong for way too long on Ange . I just think defending him once I had reached the conclusion he was not up to it would be really odd behaviour
Anyway always enjoy my debates with you on here , as I have this one
Yes we probably would have been. But so would clubs and rivals of similar size to us like Woolwich and Chelsea.I didn't know where to post this thought, this is a good a place as any - did anyone else think that if we had celebrated a League Cup win to this extent, we would have been mocked endlessly over winning a 'Mickey Mouse' trophy?
Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to have gone to Wembley and paraded the Cup around North London - been far too long since we celebrated like that.
Good luck to Newcastle, I say, rather them than the scousers, who would have taken it for granted.
He could just have not said anything.Yeah but to play devil's advocate it's probably not a good idea to tell everyone you've got loads of money to spend if you do have it.
I personally think we will spend similar to the last couple of seasons although will probably recoup some with sales of Romero Biss/Bentancur etc
Still haven't seen it on the pitch and it's got worse at a football level literally since it opened.Maybe people don’t think they are wrong? I’m interested in other opinions, as in this case, I believed Levy when he said that the new stadium would lead us into a new era of success. Others didn’t believe that. What did they see that I didn’t? I’m interested to know.
I believe that too. But I also believe he doesn't want it bad enough to ever take a risk. I also believe being too successful isn't good for turnover as you have to spend to maintain it.I still believe Levy works like a bastard flor us. I still believe he wants the football team to be a trophy winning success. Others on here say he’s only interested in concerts and doesn’t prioritise for the football team. What are they seeing that I’m not? I’d like to know.
The hotel company is just a subsidiary of the main controlling company which is Tottenham Hotspur Limited, the same logic of selling off could apply to the stadium, the training ground or the men's/women's team which are all separate subsidiary companies of THL.
I can only speak for myself, but for me the biggest sign that Levy is not driven by ambition for on field success is the following .Maybe people don’t think they are wrong? I’m interested in other opinions, as in this case, I believed Levy when he said that the new stadium would lead us into a new era of success. Others didn’t believe that. But, asking that on here, in the present circumstance of our on field performances is basically like standing at the end of a corridor, legs apart and asking everyone to take a nice long run up to hoofing me in the balls. I can’t be arsed. And the huge number of posts every day having pops at fans of the same fucking club we all support, beggars belief. There’s some Spurs fans being treated worse on here than Gooner interlopers. Place has become a fucking shitshow of keyboard cunts calling out fellow fans in a manner they’d never dare do in person. And decent fans and debaters, like yourself, aren’t helping matters by concentrating on this area either.
Anyway, I’m in danger of becoming a “let’s all just love one another” hippy, slo I’ll fuck off now. Appreciate the response man.
The replacements for Kane were Brennan and Richarlison.I can only speak for myself, but for me the biggest sign that Levy is not driven by ambition for on field success is the following .
Whenever we have been in a position to truly challenge he hunkers down and says that will do , we are thereabouts.
Firstly the disgraceful Jan window under Redknapp with the Nelsen and Saha freebies .
The Poch no signings for two windows.
The latest example the selling Kane situation . I don’t disagree with selling Kane , however I massively disagree with not replacing him for 12 months . This was just Brebatov 2.0 but without Fraser Campbell. He made the sales with total negligence on the replacement side , one can argue Brebatov forced his hand but he is too well rewarded to be unaware that Brebatov was gone mentally. You can’t be the highest paid CEO and keep fucking these things up .
Well that is my view on him . .

So sad......yet so fucking true

Exactly.
Small time mentality polluting our fanbase.
One of the current Big 6
Formerly one of the Big 5
Record FA cup winners pre-ENIC
Proud European heritage
Massive fuck-off fanbase
London
9th richest club on planet earth
The list goes on and on
We used to attract the best players. The only reason we don't any more is Daniel Levy and ENIC

I’m not going to repeatKosher Kid ’s post, as it says what I think and a lot of posters think.
The biggest revenue stream is surely the football club and its success, right? Winning the League or Champions League (fanciful as that sounds) would surely make more money?
I’m a fan of Tottenham Hotspur. For me, winning is everything.
