KDB has had all the injuries under the sun, but when he was fit & firing, man what a sight. Absolutely unreal player, wherever he was positioned...you could've played him CB and he'd have been untouchable.

As you wish to believe. In my opinion, there a difference when we play with FBs staying wide. I don't want Ange to stay but I believe our next manager can benefit from seeing the FBs wide as opposed to inverting.
Could say the same to Johnson though.
In my world a positive change, no matter how small, is worth a mention. Even with the likes of ENIC, Levy and Ange.

It was exactly the opposite.
Tel went to get the ball. Johnson came over to say he wanted it. They discussed it. Johnson took the ball.
Romero as captain came over and took the ball from Johnson and gave it to tel.
We're 12th in the league in goals conceded and 13th in the table.
Yet these threads constantly fill up with people making asinine statements like Son is horrible, Johnson is shit, Maddison is past it, Solanke is a waste of money, etc.
It's clearly our defence's inability to hold on to a lead. We're 4th bottom in terms of points won after taking a lead. Only the 3 clubs that will be relegated are below us.

Our defence and midfield are the ones that ought to be bearing the brunt of the angst this season, yet it has always seemed to fall on our attackers who are very successful at their primary task.
VDV has been out most of the season. Romero isn't actually as good as he, and some others, believe he is. Our fullbacks aren't actually good at being fullbacks and are really just 2nd rate wingers (like a lot of fullbacks these days). We do not have a competent DM - which is 100% necessary with the style we try to play. The midfielders we do have are shite at shielding the back 4, who are far, far, far too often caught woefully out of position and disorganized. Our manager seemingly harbours a disdain for defencive strategy and, in any event, seems incapable or unwilling to notice and address the clear issue in our tactics.
Should our wingers do a better job tracking back? Sure, yeah, obviously. But that's a secondary/tertiary responsibility for their position. Their primary brief is to create goals - they are doing so at a very high level.
That was terrible. Two shite teams. Second half awful.
