Why the fuck would we put Johnson's personal glory over the team result?

What would a hattrick have done for him? Cover how shit he's been all season? See him cone out flying against Hamburg, taking on players, tracking back, making dangerous passes?

No.

It'd be the same old Johnson, just with one extra goal. Pointless.

The weird take is those up in arms over Tel taking it.
We'd already won the game...it was practically the last kick of the game...why deny a team mate a little bit of glory to satisfy your ego..

Bale being a roving threat is what really defined his ascension to a world class player. It didn't matter where he was listed on the team sheet, he covered all avenues of attack. It was the best thing about watching him.
Nah mate.. he played ALL his career with Southampton and us on the LHS.. became the world's most expensive player from his performances on the LHS and all his great games for real Madrid on the LHS and the occasional foray into the 9 .. his fall from grace @madrid .baring injuries coincided with him being deployed on the RHS.. and his final spell with us, where, he gave value BUT not the excitement and quality we/I was hoping forz he was played down the RHS. But hey ho, well just have to agree to disagree.

I don't understand why it takes him so long to get a shot off now. Like he's playing in slow motion. It was the one thing he was always great at, and without that, he's pony.

He's only ever been very good at a couple of things, shooting off both feet mainly, and finishing. And now that's gone, he's just crap.
The guy is a Tottenham legend for sure but he's way past his sell by date. He's there to keep the Koreans buying expensive tickets and sell merch...a typical bald goblin move

You're wrong.

Facts > Opinion.

Can't believe there were actual grown people who thought Ange was a good manager

Hmm there's always a post

Conte must be crying into his pasta watching this

Or Two...

Big Ange has laid really good foundations already.

Romero + VDV + Vic is solid af.
Both full backs looking good.
Midfield 3 class.
Rich is poor, we looked way better with Son down the middle.
Kulu was pretty poor but improved after his goal.
An injection of quality/pace into this front line will really set us up for a great season.

Perisic and PEH really good subs to bring on to calm things down and see out a game.
Skipp and Gio did okay.

Or perhaps Three..

Incredible second half, continued as we ended the first.

Brilliant to a man, including the subs.

Amazing for Ange to have such an impact so soon.

It's there on a plate for you Levy, AGAIN!
Please back this man in the next two weeks!

Keep checking those mirrors dude

A substantial part of that magical pace he once had is gone. Coupled with his first touch that's always been poor and him being played on the left, that leads to the shit showings we've been seeing for months now. He no longer is a 90-min player either, especially week in week out. But Ange gotta Ange.

I'd still keep him around next season, mind. But first, he must be played nearer the goal, as a support striker feeding off the work of a top quality No 9 (so not Dom)...and don't ask him to create for others, just to shoot shoot shoot. Also, he doesn't start games, but comes on against tired legs & when we're ahead.

Someone who knows what they're doing will manage to squeeze some more juice out of the legend. Sonny ain't finished yet, it just looks like it cause the whole place really stinks and shit decisions are made one after the other.

That story gotta end on a high, not many players in our history deserve it more than Sonny does.

He's an arrogant overpriced selfish prick..
Bayern know a thing or two about building a top roster, full of players with that elite winning mentality. And they're never shy about kicking to the curb those who don't play by the rules. So if they let the kid go out on loan (when they're short) and are open to selling him, maybe I'd trust their call on that.
