Match Yep, another match with little effort or joy to watch. Saints, home, 6th April, 2pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Honestly watching other teams hard to think of a full back in the whole league who has performed as well as Spence, if he was playing for Woolwich or City or Pool he would be billed as the best full back in the league and told he should be playing for England.

We have been such a shambles that Spence’s performances have been hidden. Bit like West Ham with Bowen, Bowen is one of the best RW’s in the league consistently but not given the credit as he plays for Spam and we are playing at West Ham level.
not sure why people are not wanting to sign Bowen rather than Eze. I only watch these players against us and for England but Bowen has impressed me more than Eze.

I think West Ham would want as much as Rice. He is pretty much their team now. I can see why Kudas or Paqueta is liked but Bowen is clearly the best footballer at their club.

Help me someone - those USELESS cunts at Stockley Park had me kicking my heels for more than 5 minutes again, then eventually chalked off a nice little goal for the LOVELY Bergvall. Can someone please tell me if Romero was actually offside? They only showed the still frame for a couple of seconds and it looked questionable to me.

Just got in from the game . I'm pretty disgusted with the lack of singing today . I thought the place was going to be half empty , but obviously the supporters had sold their tickets to tourists that didn't know how to carry a tune or simply didn't know the words . The game :- We looked easily the better team from kick off and we made a few chances that came to nothing . But then they sprung an attack totally against the run of play and Vicario had to make a point blank save .It wasn't long before we were on the scoreboard a run into the box by Spence and he cut the ball back for Johnson to strike it into the top of the net 1-0 . Bergvall had a goal ruled out for offside , but from what I see on the big screen it was just a wall of bodies and looked onside - that took about 6 mins to get the VAR decision . Johnson scored again just before half time , well I say half time there was 7mins added on because of the VAR . 2-0 half time . Second half and all of the football was in our half , we were a totally different team and Saints fancied their chances , and I said to my mate if we don't get back into this game they'll score , a few minutes later they scored 2-1 . We really need a strong captain in our squad , we don't seem to kill games off and we needed someone on the park to tell the players to up their game . We got a penalty - Johnson was chopped down , but it looked less of a penalty that the 2 we were denied from the chavs game . There was a bit of a debate who should take it and it was left up to Romero to decide - common sense says give it to Johnson so he could get a hat trick but Romero gave the ball to Tel , he stepped up and slotted it into the corner of the net 3-1 . Southampton sung their hearts out , considering they got relegated today they put us to shame . But a win is a win and we got the 3pts . I suppose we're all C$teh supporters for the Manchester derby - that would put us up to 13th

I am NOT kidding you - just look at the 'VERTICAL' line they've drawn from Romero's shoulder. Zoom in on it - it's A JOKE. I found this image on MSN and I've not tweaked it at all.

Not only is it going all over the place (outwards from vertical), but also it doesn't finish horizontally in line with Romero's grounded foot - it finishes significantly lower than his foot. NEVER offside. Not in a MILLION years.

Also not even really connected to his shoulder. Starts outside it

My observations from the game…

Their away end was full of pink and yellow and looked like a team day at Mr. Kipling. Our own performance was half baked at best. Good job they’re not exceedingly good…

:mourweird:

(Deliberately tedious and unamusing post reflecting how i feel about this season really…)

It shouldn't be vertical, it's perpendicular to an angled line. It would only be vertical on the goal line.
