Then when we equalised, more a sense of relief than joy.
Second half, thought we had a spell when we played really well, but that's when we have to press the advantage and score! Lucas so unlucky, what a sweet strike that was. Sonny had a great shot superbly saved and think Romero hit the bar.
Thought Destiny and Lucas were probably our best players, but thought most of them looked up for it.
As we seem to have sacked off the league and putting all our eggs in the EL basket, the subs (especially Richie) should have had more minutes.
Think it will be tough to get anything in the second leg, we needed a cushion of at least two goals for me to feel reasonably confident of progressing. But hope springs eternal and stranger things have happened in our history.

This is the thing. There don’t seem to be many leaders out there. If the players don’t feel as though Ange is getting them to play the way that gets the best out of the team then they should show some character and ignore him and play the way they want next Thursday. If they lose Ange is a gonna anyway so it won’t really matter. Our squad is good enough to win this competition but not with these tactics
No, Frankfurt have Ultras for sure and do that stuff, but it is different to Bayern or Leverkusen (or even Dortmund), the whole stadium will be standing up and bouncing.
