Maddison also created the goal after good work from this weeks other whipping boy, Dom Solanke.
Maddison lost the ball a little easy, yes, but it was in the center circle. He had no chance of affecting the next phase of play, so singling him out as at fault is letting the others off far too easily. We're wide open all the time. We don't know what to do when teams press us and win the ball back. Which is odd when our game is supposedly to do exactly that ourselves.
Having seen them yesterday i think getting a result out there is more than possible. If we sat deep, played full backs as full backs and tried to hit them on the break with pace, which we have. But i'm guessing we wont do any of that.
Tel must be used at some point in this game.

It’s not really a dangerous pass as Porro can get goalside. Unfortunately Porros 1v1 defending is then total shite!!
