it's been game changing all right, a slow slide from 2nd to 15th , a much lower wage bill and massive fan disenchantment

I can see us being like Everton going forwards, perhaps not of the relegation struggles of the last few 3 years but certainly the 8th to 14th mid table version of the 15 to 20 years prior to that. Just going nowhere.

Game changer for ENIC tbf
Spent a billion of the clubs money to grow the value of their investment by 2 billion, and ruined the match day experience and first team in parallel
Why?
None of the teams that come up get anywhere near Premier League teams, for the last two seasons the 3 promoted teams have gone straight back down again.
Even if we enter a scenario of being rock bottom after 2 months then they'll just sack him and offer another manager a massive pay packet to come in and firefight.
Last time we were facing a legit threat of relegation 2008/09 ENIC magically found £50m from behind their sofa and went out and bought Palacios, Keane and Defoe in january, they'll ensure it won't happen because relegation is terrible for their business plan - This club has been designed to be setup to take advantage of Premier League exposure - if ENIC take us down that fucks up their entire M.O and totally contradicts the methods of the way they have been running this club.

Levy so determined to hold on to his asset even though he is devaluing it just by staying involved...
The new multi purpose sports and entertainment awena will be game changing and allow us to compete with Euwope's elite such as penny wise, pound foolish has been a phrase attributed to him many times the last several years.
