I enjoyed our back to basics play vs Frankfurt - clearing lines and full backs defending and playing in the right areas. I would like to double down and go full old school:

Vic
Porro Romero Danso VDV
Spence Bentacur Berg Kulu
Richy Solanke

Ave it

Full rotation for this.

Vic

Gray
Danso
Davies
Spence

Bissouma
Sarr
Kulusevski (needs minitues)

Johnson
Richarlison
Odobert
I will never understand this attitude. We had a great result against Frankfurt and you want to rest all but Vicario and potentially lose any momentum we have from the win, and a fortnight away from the next EL game.

I get that the schedule's as bloated as it's ever been, but playing a whole new side against a well-drilled counter-attacking team will only end in a big loss. Rotate half the team at most.

I'd like us to take a similar approach to this game.

Let's be controlled, we can sit in and ask them to break us down. I think they'll find it much harder to do that compared to us going forward and allowing them to counter.

I'd play a relatively strong team for this one and go full rotation against Pool.

---------------------Vicario-------------------
Gray--------Danso------Davies-----Spence
-------------Bissouma--Sarr---------------
---------------------Kulusevski-------------‐-
---Odobert-----------------------------Tel-----
-------------------Solanke--------------------

I enjoyed our tactics yesterday. Getting rid of playing out from the back. Our defenders look so much more comfortable with it.
This is a tough game but we can play free and easy. It’s Forest that will feel the pressure.

Still need to keep the levy out chants going though .

Who needs a rest after last night? I'd say Solanke, Maddison, Bentancur, Udogie, VDV and Romero.

So my team would be:

Vicario
Porro Danso Gray Spence
Kulusevski Bissouma Sarr
Johnson Richarlison Tel

Odobert over Johnon if he's ready to play a full game but heard he's minding a hamstring strain so not worth the risk.

Honestly with an extra days rest as it’s Monday I’d be tempted to go full strength, keep the back line settled etc get some continuity going as we then don’t play again until Sunday after. Maybe rotate vdv if we can’t play him twice in a row and kulu in as Maddison might be crocked.

Nah, don't risk injury.

All focus on the semi.
I do get what you are saying but I’ve read a bunch of articles from ex players saying it’s so much better to have continuity and a settled side playing together. That team has barely played together all season it’s much better to have them stay settled and keep the momentum going.
Most id do is Spence in for one of the fullbacks, danso for Vdv who likely we shouldn’t risk and kulu in for Maddison

Lots of changes from the Wolves games to last night, what's not to understand.

I'd give some of the other lads more minutes, they'll be needed in the semi/final at some point.

Plus we've another league game before the semi where we could go a bit stronger with momentum going into the semi in mind.
