Real Talks...
Forest are a great counter-attack team & great on the break - all we have to do is make sure our players don't create errors or give the ball away stupidly. It's always 1 duff pass or some dumbshiterry & we lose possession then concede.
But hey it's a PL game - I'll watch it & see how it goes.
Maybe that's too much to ask?!
Maybe it's too pathetic?!
On Thursday, Tottenham proved how to beat opponents - even if someone wrote that Frankfurt was shit.
Whether an opponent is shit or not is irrelevant.
Going onto the pitch without the will and without respect is the first step to only leave second place.
If the ball is lost, my expectation would be that a team like Tottenham focuses on getting it back as quickly as possible.
It could work if everyone at Spurs can rely on each other.
Tottenham is now in the semifinals of the Europa League!
You have to get there first - only four out of 36 manage that!
Regardless of that, you should try to continue to "take the PL seriously."
If you lose here, it could (perhaps?) affect your performance in the Europa League.
Getting "unexpected" points could boost their confidence.
Thursday is over. On Monday, Nottingham Forest will try to bag three points for themselves.
It will be challenging, but it could be worth it if Tottenham gives 100% in every remaining game.
If Spurs try that, then a defeat won't be as fatal as playing at half strength. No tip this time, just the hope that every single player at this great club will show everything they can do – play good football!Everything else will follow!
(And finally, something a bit crude again. It's nice when others see Tottenham as weak, as a possible relegation candidate. When Forrest is the first to believe they'll take it easy on Spurs!Yet another reason to (respectfully) kick their asses!)
