you didn't watch the Frankfurt game? Thats a madness. You must have been checking the score every 2 mins in the hot tub

Nope. Just chatting about life, plans and the next 10 years of ambitions.

And I can’t control 11 blokes in another country.
Turned on my phone a while after the match. Messaged a few people back. Turned it off again.

Plus we won so my nonchalant tactics worked a treat.

I might start adopting similar tactics for these league games. I find I'm much less angry after a defeat if I didn't watch it.I did this for the Fulham game a few weeks ago and it worked a treat. Its far more frustrating when you plan your whole weekend around watching Spurs and then we lose!

Mind you, I'd never in a million years miss that Frankfurt game. Them big European nights can never be taken for granted.

Well I can’t begrudge this thread sparking back to life. I do t want him as manager next season, but would love for him to walk away having won us the Europa and calling us ungrateful pricks - I would take that in a heartbeat

No point thinking about it until it happens but let’s be real, if we win EL, Ange is our coach next season unless he walks himself.

The club will not be sacking the most successful coach in the Premier League era.

He might have learnt some valuable lessons this season (around rotation and changing tactics when down important players). I wouldn't completely give up on him yet, mainly because the managers we are linked with are far from safe bets.

But he has to win us the Europa League to earn his stay. This season has been unacceptable!
