I pressed "show ignored content" with dread, expecting to read the same old drivel from one of the usual suspects.
But, to my pleasant surprise, it wasn't one of them but you, after 100,000 attempts, making a post where you are not telling somebody off but instead are making a sensible observation.

We have Son, Tel and Johnson who are all wide forward/second striker players and Ange plays one central striker and two wingers. It’s not their fault just a mismatch between players and system.
If Ange’s is gone in the summer then the next guy will probably play that role as most managers I think play at least one wide forward/second striker.
Soon after he joined he was apparently quoted as not liking playing out wide and he isn't currently up to playing the Kane role I think he said he was a second striker so a bit of a misfit.Looked better against Frankfurt but let's face facts we would rather have played them than say Villa.
You've made an assumption that Mbeumo only plays well in a low-possession counter-attacking team.
He's obviously having a break-out season, but at 25yo he has levels to go yet imo and plenty of attractive qualities that could translate to free-flowing possession footy. Rapid, versatile in a front 2 or 3, great presser, and part of one of the best strike partnerships in the league (34G 9A combined) which could realistically be developed with Dom and our litany of inside forwards.
In all likelihood it's Arse or Liverpool that pay the 60m and reap the rewards.

Do you remember where you saw the quotes about playing out wide?
I remember the German media saying he’s a striker not a wide forward but don’t remember the quotes from him.
From what we’ve seen Tel is a second striker who can play wide forward and IMO ends up a CF like Isak eventually moved central as he got stronger.
There can’t be anyone more tedious on here than a person who spends half his posts talking about the people he supposedly ignores, but actually does anything but.
Or thicker. Thick and tedious. It’s not a great combo champ.
