I agree, it's not good enough. We won the UEFA cup in 1984 though, i bet a lot of fans couldn't say what our league position was that year.

We're already an embarrassment in the media, for being Spursy, wanting to throw games. Sacking Mourinho on the eve of a cup final, now we want to sack one even if he wins a trophy.

I agree it probably would end the same as Ten Hag. I dont want another season like this. But it just seems insane that we's sack someone that delivered our first European trophy in 41 years.

It’s nothing to do with moral victories hahahaha.

Sport is about winning, yeah. But I’d rather have had our years under Poch and have been competing with the best than be West fucking Ham and be utter shite but sing champions of Europe having won the conference league.

Not all winning is made equal and your absolutist mentality when it comes to this is odd. Winning the EL would be great, throw a party, but of course doing well in the league also matters a lot and isn’t just irrelevant if you don’t finish first.

I’d definitely take the Poch years over west ham mid table conference years

But I’d have preferred Poch won a conference League or Europa over winning nothing because they were beneath us as you claim.

EL is the second biggest trophy this club has ever won after the first division. We Can’t re-write our history because Poch finished 2nd and should’ve won the prem or reached a CL final.
