Match Tottenham vs Forest Monday 21 April 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We'd still have conceded shitty goals due to shitty tactics.
Forest would still have dropped deep.
If Kane did what the idiot coach told him to do, he'd have been stood around waiting for a cut back all match.

Ange is shit.
We are shit because Ange is shit.
If you came here because of Ange, then hopefully you leave because of Ange too.
I didn't come here because of Ange but that does not make me automatically Ange Out.
Speaking of Kane (and prime Son) I think that some of these shots could have a happier ending.

I still think that our results are not (only) the manager's fault.

Stats don't win games.
People have been trying to argue Ange's corner with stats since last season. And yet we just keep losing game after game after game.
All the possession in the world means nothing if we're wide open and easy to score against. Which we are. In every single game. The stat you didn't include is the chances we concede.

In term of XGa, only the bottom 3 have a worse record than us. So despite us having one of the highest possession counts and some other fluff at the front, we are easy to create against because we absolutely disregard defending. No successful team is successful without a solid defence to build on.

The fans get dumber by the day. They did exactly the bare minimum they need to beat us. Take the points and go home. I long for this level of functional competence. In fact the more I think about it, the more I think these kind of people have kind of got us where we are. It's the aesthetic of 'entertainment ' that's seeped into modern football. Football teams need to be able to do more than one thing, be free flowing and one touch but also dig in and battle to get points. It's not a product that has no variance. That was never football.
Didn’t the goons do the same? They knew we are toothless when it comes to breaking down a low block. It’s not rocket science.

(Alisdair Gold asking the question)
Q: Were you tempted to make your subs earlier as the game was turning?

A: Yeah I could have. But... all these things... are totally irrelevant to me. Substitutions and all those kind of things. If you're not competitive, it doesn't matter what you do, you're not going to get rewards, you don't deserve to win. We didn't deserve on our second-half performance, irrespective of subs or anything else, to get something out of the game. But I think if you do get something out of the game, you're falsely rewarded and I don't want to get falsely rewarded.
That should be framed somewhere as the most bile piece of BS talk ever.

Levy is criticised for chasing the money, fans should want the Glory of winning a major trophy.
We have not won the top league division since 1961 and never won the CL. We were awful the yea\r we got to the CL final although not as bad as this season. The Europa Cup & Domestic cups are within our capabilities but we are not winning them. Once we have won them we can move on to the bigger trophies.
The very top players would not come to us at present whoever was the owner and whatever wages we offered. We need to earn that respect. Newcastle have Isaac but he cost about £60m the same as Solanke. Get CL after winning the League Cup and they may be able to attract better players.
Win the Europa and qualify for CL will attract a better Manager than if we fail.
Isak was about £40M after WC.

Spence has started to fade over the last few matches, horrible mistakes against Bournemouth and Fulham shouldn't mean he would walk directly back in the team and besides our original back 5 when they are all fit actually play well for the most part...you can't tell me Porro and Udogie deserved to be dropped over the past few weeks.
Spence has been no worse than porro in defending. Didn’t he make a great last ditch tackle the other week. Anyway Spence was the one in form so should have kept his shirt. Just bcos the other two have done well v EF doesn’t now mean they should be first choice. That is no barometer.

Against Frankfurt that back 5 (including GK) were great so for me it's pretty pointless changing things and bringing Spence in.

Spence WAS in form but his level has dropped over the past few matches, doesn't deserve to start now IMO

He’s not had any impact in the PL at all, compared to Europa. He can’t create space for himself yet
How do you know are you an expert coach. Do Tel, Wilson, turbo, Johnson create space for themselves. Only a few players in history are great at finding space like scholes, Rooney use to, pirlo, etc. Don’t burden that on Moore yet. Let him just try be a winger ffs.

I just thought he could create gaps in the Europa league as players aren’t as quick, but not so in the PL - yet. I’m sure he will get that burst in a year or two and be able to really impact games and unleash his ability on the ball. I’m not talking off the ball movement, more so the strength and pace to get away from a defender and get a cross or shot off
