Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I honestly believe there are some people who want us to lose this semi so its another stick to beat Ange with.

I’m part of a Spurs supporters group and I don’t lie when one of guys in it would rather finish 7th and qualify for Europe than win the Europa and finish bottom half. Amazes me.
you know finishing seventh doesn't involve losing 20 fucking matches. i think that gets overlooked in the i'd rather win a trophy debate. it's been a miserable slog of a season that i'm not sure winning a second rate cup will take the stink off of.

Ange got shown up by the Tamworth manager, I wouldn’t make us favourites against anyone with him in charge.

I know Andy Peaks quite well from his playing days at Rushden.

Never the most gifted of players, his effort and character far outweighed his talent on the pitch.

As a manager of Rushden before moving on to Tamworth he managed both sides and I hate to say this in the same style as when Brian Talbot managed Rushden.

He set out a plan and a system against us and was determined to stick to it.

I talked to him a couple of weeks after that game. He always though that our midfield wad weak defensively, we were predictable in the way we move the ball, and our will to fight was low.

Just my ten cents worth.

I think the concern for all fans is that Levy might just he stupid and cowardly enough to stick with Ange if he wins this trophy. We all want that reassurance that he won’t be here next season.

The atmosphere at home matches is absolutely dead and nobody is bothered about facing us anymore. He has turned us into a pathetic side. Winning the EL won’t make me want another season of games like Leicester and Ipswich at home.

Ange will go, winning the EL isn't a safety net for him.

You just have to look at our remaining games, we will end up losing over twenty PL games this season, could even be twenty two, and that's being generous.

That for whomever the team and manager is in any professional league is unacceptable.

It's about long term vision and building a successful team.

The other team cannot score if you have the ball.

Spurs have been repeatedly let down by individual errors, and inexperienced players have been exposed.

The quality of the squad is poor.

Ange's ship has sailed. We look set to lose Bentencuar, Romero and Porro in the summer; and Barca's scouts are watching Bergvall. City want Madison and Kulu is wanted in Italy. Dragusin has wanted out for quite some time, and Sarr is admired in Spain.

How do expect the next coach to perform?

Season after season we have a squad that doesn't match fans expectations....and every time we call for the head of the coach.

Not sure if this is a recent interview but he clearly doesn't know the sentiment of the fans of how to deal with them in high level competition.
He should understand that no Spurs fans want Woolwich to win the EPL title even if that meant Spurs losing a game where they - unless, of course, Spurs were challenging for something.
His native tactics themselves is like asking Spurs to lose.

Postecoglou just has to comment on everything. There was no need last year to comment on fans wanting Spurs to lose the Man City game and deny Woolrich the title. Managers routinely find ways to give non-answers to that kind of question. The idea of bringing that all back up now is just sticking a thumb in people's eye for no reason. He was idolized at his other teams in lesser leagues and now he seems resentful that fans have noticed the poor results this season.

Utter nonsense.

We were 4 points off 2nd place after 12 games this season, and had just beaten City.

It all went to shit because of injuries and the club not providing a good enough squad...filling the gaps with kids and poor quality players.

The medical team is a complete joke and has been completely innept and getting injuries players back to fitness. This has been going on for years.

As always the truth is somewhere in the middle. Ange isn't as big of a fraud as this season looks imo. There are some mitigating factors but this level of performance in the league is just unacceptable no matter what. The fact that it really hasn't gotten any better with players coming back is the final nail in the coffin. There's some arguments that the injuries hurt continuity, training, etc...but there should still be some improvement. In combination with some just wretched performances...Everton, Leicester, etc...It's just too much to logically say he deserves another chance. He's probably not as good as 5th but not as bad as 16th. This openness at the back, lack of attention to detail on some things, etc are just not cut out to compete at the level we want to be at where the margins between success and failure are just much much smaller.

I don't care so much about the stuff in the media. When you are losing this much...there's nothing to be said that's going to go over well. Obviously he's defensive, talking in circles, etc. He has to answer the same questions every match and we're not playing any better. All the stuff with the fans. Who cares. We don't have to have a love affair with our coach. And ultimately when you're losing this much. There's no action that's going to make it better or worse.

Keep foul voting this troll folks .I can only do it once a month.

Well, that 58 year old with no experienced managed to get 5th in his premier league season, with losing Harry Kane and having no replacement striker.

He also got us to 2 semi finals, playing a bunch of 18 year olds and a different squad every week.

So how about show some respect.
You know everyone is laughing at you, right?
They're not laughing at your attempt at talking down to me, they're laughing at your inability to share the same reality as the rest of the human race.

Get the fat cunt the fuck out at half time. Make him walk home from that shithole. If one of the Bindippers gets him and he disappears, even better.

As far as I can tell, the situation we are in with Ange is a pretty obvious one.

He is wedded to playing in a way that is tilted massively towards possession and away from defensive solidity. This worked well for him in low-talent leagues with teams high in talent for that league. Now he is in the highest-talent league on the world, with a team medium in talent for that league. And it simply does not work.

There’s no shame in this. It was an experiment worth trying. It failed.

This team is where they belong in the EPLnear the bottom. A joke of a team Ange and Levy notwithstanding.
We look to sign teenagers and anyone else we can get on the cheap. Players from low based teams. So get ready for some of the same next year and the year after.

And what's more, Solanke and Richarlison as £60m strikers, do me a favor. Woolich don't have a recognized striker and they are 2nd in the league and in the semis of the CL.

Maybe a team with world class players throughout would do ok with this system. We have no world class players and it's a disaster.

With the squad as it is we need a manager prepared to adapt the style to best suit the squad rather than X style no matter what. I agree it was worth a try, it's unacceptable to keep trying this with these level of results

He is almost at that point where he ruins Gray and Moore (and even other youngsters). Their spirits are broken and you do not see the hunger and joy in their play the way it was in August or September.

Save the kids, save your investment please!!!!!!!!!
