Fucking hell... your glass is overflowing. What has Odobert actually shown. He's had one decent half since he came back. How you can say he's a real gem is beyond me.
A professional football having to learn to run again. Do me a favour... its absolute bollocks. The best ability is availability and he will never have that. When he has been fit it's not like we've been keeping clean sheets but that's down to the mamager and the system like all the problems we have. Ange is a massive problem but these players don't get a free pass.
Not one of them gets ahead of prime Poch starting eleven. Not now, not next season, not ever.
A few of them may have the odd good game and pull the wool over your eyes but other than Bergvall the rest are average at best and a new manager with a shiny new system will soon find that out but no doubt we will blame that manager. Problem is thst Levy has normalise average players when we use to sign good players.
Keep Bergvall, the rest can fuck off...
Yes they have all been pretty shit this season and it seems strange to say, but our main back 4 of Porro, Romero, VDV and Udogie are probably the only players that would get a game at any of the other big clubs. None of our midfielders are especially good with only Bergvall a chance to get to a higher level. Up front we have 2 strikers that don't score many goals, they both try hard and their workrate is great but they are not goal poachers and they can't create anything for themselves. Our wingers are not creative either and are reliant on Porro or Maddison to do something for them.
This really could turn into one of the worst transfer windows in the history of the club.
We have 7 players out of contract, and 4 players entering their final year. Romero has expressed his desire to leave and I'm convinced Porro and Bentencaur may be right behind him with many suiters in Spain. Madisson's agent has also been shopping him around; with links to City to satisfy their home grown quota.
So, potentially need to sign 10 players just to fill the squad....oh, and we will need a very low NET SPEND due to financial losses. Tel and Danso will likely eat up all the Romero money; and Bissouma / Gil sales will likely net 15-20m at best.

Lol talk about making a mountain out of a molehill, out of those players in the final year which one is gonna be hard to replace?
We are obligated to buy Danso and Tel will most probably be a renegotiation, the rest can go and we can trim the squad.
Allow the doomsday scenarios
I am not sure we are in a position to trim the squad; especially given what happened this season. If the expected players leave (Romero, Werner, Reggie, Forster, Davies, Bissouma) we face the prospect of having to sign
1 x Keeper (Vicario, Kensky, new)
2 x CB (Danso, VDV, Dragusin, new, new)
2 x Full Back (Porro, Udogie, Spence, new, new)
1 x Midfield (Sarr, Bentencaur, Bergvall, Grey, new)
1 x winger (Son, Odobert, Johnson, new)
That is a fair amount of business to get done in 1 window, especially if you want to sign quality. If Bentencaur, Maddisson + Porro also leave we are in a very tough position - with no money to spend.
We already signed a backup GK
Club will give Davies a new deal and will probably sign 1 CB
Porro won't go anywhere so we will sign another FB
Neither will Maddison so they will probably look to replace Bissouma (Cardoso)
A renegotiation for Tel
Maddison and Porro won't leave, Bentancur may but the club want a lot of money for him so can't see it happening.

If Cardoso joins that'll probably be it for incomings unless Richarlison is sold.

City and Juventus have already shown interest; and Spurs have allegedly named a 50m price tag.
He's only just turned 18.
I'm not confident that Spence or Udogie are good enough. Their heads seem to drop very quickly, and their play is littered with errors.
'shown interest' doesn't mean they will leave.
If we don't win EL I can see the club backing their youth policy even more. Bring in Vuscovic, Donley, maybe Devine, Phillips. Potentially could bring in Cardoso, Rigg, Dibling. A young squad with potential and hope to find a manager to make it click.
Win the EL and the next transfer window could be completely different.
Kinsky as backup.
Odobert as backup.
Gray as a backup with potential.
Bergvall starter week in week out.
Solanke backup.
Tel I really ain't sure if we keep or cut our losses.
Spence as backup
Everyone else put a price on them and see what we can bring in to fix the mess we see weekly.
If we are being as ruthless as we need to be to get the squad back to looking and feeling competitive, is there genuinely anyone else that we can add to this list of 7 I've highlighted above to retain the required shake up?

You seriously counting Werner and Tel as end of contract? Short term loans who will be no loss. Surprised you haven't counted Reguillon. Danso already has a 5.5 year deal in place - all signed and sealed.
The 4 you mentioned are linked with other clubs will bring in significant funds *if* we sell them.
If we have no Europe next season we only need a squad of 22 players supplemented by academy talents (like Moore). Excluding those in the last year of their contract and those out of contract [minus 10 players] we still have plenty of players [27].

Yes, there is a lack of any depth of quality there, especially if we're in Europe. Just need a better manager / better tactics.

Those WF options make me sick. A 17yo, two non-wingers and an unknown quantity in Odobert. Solomon will be back too but seems a Champo level player.
If we bring in an experienced CM, I'd also consider sending Sarr on loan. Still not sure if he's got the stones or footballing IQ to be a regular starter for us.
If we go into next season with that squad we'll be struggling again.
Romero won't be at Spurs next season. Richarlison mustn't be.
Big question mark over Vicario, VdV, Udogie, Bentancur, even Kulu & Mads...don't be surprise if they agitate for a move. Can't say I'd be that distraught to see any/all of them shipped out.
