Yep... Last night looking at the level Barca play.. he'd get NO WHERE near the starting 11, i'de say he'd be in Barca b or out on loan. Which if all things were equal, is what we should, arguably,have done with him.
He absolutely does not lack the “fundamental skill set” to be a 6. To say that of a 19 year old is just silly.

Kulusevski was crap for a season under Conte too. He’s a hot and cold player with a very limited skill-set. I rate him more than BC but he’s nothing more than decent.
I won’t take the you’re wrong bit personally, it gets said to me a lot on here and it only very rarely ends up being true.
Bergvall is a good talent but in most teams would be on the bench. I don’t see an inventive or expansive passer.

It's actually a good question, seems like 6 is a role where players need to mature and grow into.
He isn't that far off at 19 years old (!) when you see elite midfielders this week in the CL from Barca and PSG. Within a couple of seasons he will be up there with the best, massive potential.

Maybe. He did play against and beat both Liverpool and Woolwich this season mind. I think he would have been our ideal number six to buy last summer

He's a good kid and deserves better than he's getting right now. Never been a fan of rushing player development. It's throwing them to the sharks and long-term risk of injury and legs going sooner is a thing too. Imagine how Kane would be today if we hadn't run him into the ground for seasons and seasons.
I disagree. Hes a decent dribbler, but his tactical side of the game is very poor. He has so much to learn about positioning, tracking his man, passing lanes, blocking etc. He has decent raw attributes albeit not a particularly elite passing range.
Haha literally.... they have a generational player in Pedri a player on the bench whos a lot better than bergvall in Gavi, a pain international in Olmo at 10, and De Jong at 6 who is absolutely class. They also have a very good young 6 coming through who sadly did his ACl this season
a year our on loan at a low end seria a club would help him.. cos ATM he absolutely does lack the technical ability to sit and be the holding middie.. he's one footed, not quick footed enough takes an age to turn,gets disposed to easily and makes poor passing and overall decisions under pressure . ATM he'd be a walking disaster as our no 6..could well damage him for ever..imo the costly mistakes he keeps making sort of point that he's almost at that point.. frankly if I were the manager i'de be pushed to put my trust in him..
