I’m flying from Luton; I think I’ll be on airplane mode most of the time.
The things we do, eh! I thought a budget of a grand would more than cover this trip, how naive of me. This is costing more than a week's cruise in the Canaries. Obviously depends on result whether it'll be worth it or not.
Going to be an expensive week, as I'll be paying for my ST before I go, and doing the stadium tour with Mr P on the Monday.
Ah well, there goes the last of my redundancy payout!
I'm kind of tempted to go out there. Obviously won't be able to get a ticket but that's fine.

Back in 1991, we arranged a minibus to Wembley and a young girl I knew from work asked if she could come along. She didn't have a ticket, neither did one of the girlfriends of our group. They were quite happy to sit in the carpark, watching the game on a tiny, portable black and white TV. But they could hear the crowds and joined us in the celebrations that night and the next day. To this day, she still cites it as the best weekend of her life

A group of seven of us went to Madrid without tickets and ended up watching in a tiny sandwich bar near the Bernabeu as we couldn't get into any of the recommend bars. Hoping there will be a fanzone as that was great in Madrid.
I'm getting the Eurostar Monday evening, overnight coach to Bilbao and the reverse on the Thursday eve. Hoping to get some sleep on the coach!

I've got flights and accommodation, luckily booked up after the Frankfurt game so prices weren't ridiculous! No ticket though so be great to find locations where we plan to congregate!

Could've watched it in the brickies or the stadium then gone for some mixed wrestling sessions down by st anns road for that kind of dosh.

Thats crazy. I booked flight and hotel for 2 night on the night we reached the final and it was dirt cheap (direct flight and hotel was in city centre). I checked a few seconds after booking and the prices were insane.
My mate scored two tickets for 1.8k each before I set off but I said "nah fuck that" and took my chances because I thought I'd get a better deal on the day. Nope...cheapest was 5k.
Some Spurs fan I was speaking to on the plane got fleeced 26k for 2 tickets that were fake. He must have been well off though because he didn't seem to care.
