Think that is harsh. When he was playing well he showed enough ability to show us what he can do. Has all the attributes to be a quality FB speed, skill and energy.
Like many say we need to judge a lot of players under a proper inspirational manager / coach and one who actually sets the team up properly. I’m sure he wasn’t the only one who was shite.
Added to all this just look at how he has been treated this season. He plays in pre season and does well. Then we look to sell him assume Ange was happy with that but the other club didn’t stump up. Having done well pre season he gets overlooked left out of Europa squad for 3/4 goal keepers. He doesn’t even start in caraboa v Coventry. But then comes on and saves Ange basically. What was his reward he’s hardly seen for 4 months bar a good 2nd half performance v manure away. He was overlooked so many games for anyone else to play either LB or RB. He then gets his chance v soton and immediately does a great turn and pass and we score. Then generally plays well until Europa knockout starts and he is dropped. Soon as destiny was back. He knows he is being used cannon fodde for PL games Ange doesn’t give a shit about. I reckon some of that has impacted his performance. Plus the team around him has 8 changes with players who have never played together much. Also

Even with nothing to play for our think they would give it go but no. It’s bcos most of the players especially forwards are crap and we actually arnt a well setup team on how to attack or defend.

Out of the ones in the PL I’d take glassner first then irola. The former has good experience and won Europa when it was harder. Done well at palace. Just look at the points diff from when we lost to them earlier in the season and now.

Honestly, I've reserved judgment on our players- I don't know if it's how the manager uses them, the coaching or the players themselves...hell it could even be partly due to a shit medical staff as well...
A low? we lost to Leicester man...THEY GOT RELEGATED...
