Orrrr he’s just not as good as people thought like many young talents. I sure as shit wouldn’t spend that kind of money on a maybe in our situation.

I’ve seen very few signs of great talent frankly. That doesn’t mean he isn’t talented, but it definitely means he hasn’t done enough to justify making him permanent.

If Bayern want to re-loan with option to buy and are reasonable on wages then maybe see if he really has adjusted and it isn’t more of the same next season.

Ffs ‘there is a player in the met somewhere’ bs line again. You could see that about every player. I do the eye test based on ball a feet. 19 or 39 you can tell if a player is a baller. He is not! Plus he doesn’t seem to have the blistering pace people thought he had. Yet some say Moore is not that quick. He just doesn’t look that great. Just go get the fella from Brentford. He will be instant game changer. No need to wait to find out if there is a player in there. I’d get shot of most our forwards. We have wasted so much money players who very little ball skill or ability to create a bit of magic. Kulu, Richi, Johnson, send back Werner and tel, even Wilson ain’t that great. Get players like mbueno and eze then you are a top team. Supplement them with developing Moore, Solomon and may buy another forward.
 
I hope we dont sign him just because we already spend a 10 mil loan fee plus wages on him...

He looked good in the Bundesliga but pl might be too early for him and we cant carry him for a few seasons until he is ready.

Write off the 10 mil and get someone else

Mbuemo is a right winger though?

Son isn't sticking around next year and he's on his way down regardless, Solomon will rightly be sold for profit, Yang doubtful he's at the level yet, Moore would be an understudy to someone else and Odobert isn't a specialist LWF.

But do you want any of those players being our first choice LWF?

He plays predominantly on the right but he’s left footed.

I’m just indicating the type of player we need to move the team forward. He’d be an upgrade over Johnson for sure.

IMHO Tel does not move the team forward next season. He may do in a season or two, but he may not either.

Solomon would probably be sold, but the next manager may want to keep him and if he transfers his form that he displayed last season at Leeds he’d be an upgrade on Tel for sure.

him already. Unless a new manager revitalises him, we’ve seen the best from him.

If Tel isn’t ready then what is Yang? Moore? Both loan or roe ration options.

Solomon had 10 goals and 12 assists in 39 matches so not to be sniffed at.

Mbuemo is a right winger mate, doesn't matter if he's left footed - he cuts in on his left which makes him dangerous, put him on the other wing and he wouldn't be anywhere near as effective.

Solomon is definitely getting sold, the club bought him purely for profit.

I know he is. You’re missing my point about the calibre of player we should be targeting rather than yet more potential!

Solomon was ‘bought’ because he was free, yet he’s shown he could do a job last season. I think we should look at him in pre-season as if he could weigh in with similar numbers we’d surely be better off retaining him?

I get your point but I was asking who should we be targeting on the left, realistic names?

It doesn't matter how we see Solomon, he's getting sold either way.
