Funny thing is all my Woolwich mates are saying we best a shit United team in a Micky mouse competition. If my memory serves me right that shit United team beat them in the Fa Cup and didn’t Sporting, Villarreal & Olympiacos beat them in Europa.
I remember when a much better Spurs side lost to a truly elite Klopp Liverpool team in a CL final. While amazing to get there it crushed hard to lose, the EL is a big competition behind only the CL and PL for a prem club to win. They can Mickey Mouse all they want but it’s copium on steroids.

It’s interesting how United fans have reacted. They do go large in the market unlike us so in that respect this is a much bigger blow for them than us as their huge deals like Gykores might not happen. Obviously it changes our transfer plans but I feel for them it’s more drastic.
