Match We can be heroes part two Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester united UEFA Cup final. Bilbao 21st May

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Actually, the details in that photo are wonderful. The boy at the front - shoes falling apart, home-made flag, gorgeous rosettes and a party blower sticking out of his trousers pocket. Different times!

And the bloke with his rattle, Spurs paraphernalia, Spursy Hat, Sunday Suit and Wife!
The boy at the front is the absolute image of my Brother when he was a youngster.

Either time travel is a thing, or my brother was cloned!

I guessed that it was Fore st., and not the High Rd - what do you reckon?
"The following day, there was a victorious open-top bus procession from Edmonton Green's Town Hall to Tottenham's Town Hall, opposite the Prince of Wales Hospital, now closed and converted to flats. It was estimated that two million people thronged the route of the procession to celebrate Spurs' achievement."

2 million people! WOW!

I have 2 questions:

1. Why is Adrian Durham still employed in the media and not working in Lidl or Aldi

2. Do we live rent free in most media commentators heads

Even at the championship playoff final he is questioning us, can't win, gobs off we don't win anything then gobs of when we do - clearly has nothing intelligent to say 🤔

Don't think Brighton have anything left to play for, do they??
They're pretty much cemented in 8th, win lose or draw.
No, Brentford can finish above them. The following is from the Guardian:

"Brighton, by contrast, still entertain hopes of joining Spurs in European competition next season. A point would secure eighth for Fabian Hürzeler’s side, which might secure a Conference League place depending on a convoluted combination of other results, including next Wednesday’s Conference League final between Chelsea and Betis."

Ah, well a convoluted victory for Brighton it is then!!

0-4 (or whatever GD they need!!)

He's the flagship of modern media, where the purpose is to put out contentious commentary to anger fans and get them to call in furious.

He's the troll's troll and has been hugely successful at winding up those who put their emotions before their intellect.

Over the years I've seen a pattern to what he does on TS. Get an overly emotional and none too bright caller on, he'll double down on the contention to stir them up even more. Get someone on who doesn't fall for that, he'll end that call very quickly.

Unfortunately, it seems that the masses do find this extremely entertaining, hence his success.
