Definitely makes sense. In particular for our first one since it was literally the inaugural UEFA cup.These are my two guesses:
1) They were both won at home
2) The UEFA Cup struggled to achieve prestige in its formative years. It was perceived as a lesser competition for teams that weren't good enough to win the league or the FA Cup - not too different from the way that the Conference League is treated now.
The Conference has benefited from the modern media landscape giving it more room to get hyped, and it breaking a Roma trophy drought in its first season. But even then it still has to build up some prestige over time.
