This win doesn’t excuse the lack of leadership and all the other missed opportunities under Levy’s watch. If anything it shows what the club could be under someone prepared to chase glory.
That's your view.

Much as I think too many people have gone overboard on Levy/ENIC at times and come up with a lot if hogwash, I also think we have to see a statement signing or 2 this summer.
Let's see them seek to make the most of unlikely fortune.
But the debate about not being able to win has been silenced and that is a good thing.
You just know had we lost on Wednesday, it would have been Levy's fault. Madness.
Yeah, that’s why I said it.
The club is still not right. Look at the bottom 4, West Ham, United, Spurs an Everton, all poorly run clubs on the football side. West Ham won a conference league, doesn’t mean Brady has suddenly become good. We are 17th in the league and would have been in a proper relegation fight if the bottom 3 weren’t so shit. This is a massive get out of jail free card. ENIC’s trophy is in the summer, if they get 4-5 top level players worthy of CL football they will have redeemed themselves, if not little has changed.

Well Hincapie is apparently in Madrid, so that's almost certainly not happening. For those wanting to know what praise of ENIC would be and what a good window that no fan could complain about it’s something like the below as the below would give us IMO a CL level type squad that could and should compete.
Mbuemo
Delap/Eketete
Cordosa
Hincapie
Eze
Something like this would mean the club has given the manager all the tools to do the job and for me it would represent taking this opportunity. This is also assuming Romero leaves for AM which kind of seems sadly inevitable.
If this is the window then far as I am concerned the club and board did enough and we can have no complaints.

Cardoso seems a no brainer at this point.
Mbeumo, Delap, and Eze seems a bit much. But I guess if Richarlison, Kulusevski, and Werner all go, it would make sense.
Chairman Daniel Levy provides his regular end-of-season message for supporters in our official matchday programme for today’s match against Brighton & Hove Albion...
Dear all,
We did it. What an unforgettable night it was in Bilbao as we ended our long wait for glory.
This is a huge moment for the whole Club, an historic achievement that sees us lift our first European trophy since 1984.
This Club has been on an incredible journey on and off the pitch since we last won silverware, the League Cup, in 2008 – establishing ourselves as one of the biggest in Europe, moving into our new stadium and experiencing some incredible moments – we knew a trophy was the missing piece.
We’ve come so close on a number of occasions and never quite got over the line – I have never wavered from the belief that success is just around the corner.
I’d like to thank Ange and the players for making this incredible achievement possible and thanks to all of our amazing staff – there is so much hard work that goes on behind the scenes and this moment is for everyone to enjoy.
I’d also like to thank you – the fans – for staying with us and carrying that same belief. I know it’s been hard at times and I have shared in that pain and frustration along the way. But when we all come together, we know we can achieve something special.
Your support – whether that was in Bilbao, in our own stadium or in pubs and homes around the world – was the driving force behind our team.
This is one trophy – our clear ambition as a Club has always been long-term, sustained success, competing for top honours every year. We have now tasted success and we are determined to use this as a springboard for more.
Let’s enjoy this moment as a Club together, finish the season strong with a win today and go again next year.
Most of all, be proud. Come on you Spurs!
Daniel

Do you think he actually writes that? I doubt it somehow.Levy’s programme message should be realised any time now. Wonder if he publicly backs Ange in it…

That little worm have been posting in other threads but he hasn't come in here![]()
