Agree. It is wages where we truly lag behind. Lowest wages as a % of turnover in the league, I'm pretty sure.

Simons sets off so many red flags in my head. He'd push for a move next summer based on how he has been at every club he has been at.
Forced his way out of Barcelona to PSG. Didn't get minutes so he pushed for a moved to PSV. Pushed for a move back to PSG and again didn't get the minutes he expected so he pushed for a loan to Leipzig. Then for a sale to Leipzig. And now less than a year later he is pushing for another move.
The guy seems unable to settle.
All to be labelled another flop when he doesn't live up to the 80+ million price tag.
Not saying that Baleba isn't good. But he isn't 80+ mil good. And that will become incredibly obvious once those expectations are on him.

Yang (only just turned 19!) literally only arrived in Europe a few months back and has not kicked a ball for us.
Odobert (20) has mostly been injured but looked bright when he has appeared.
