It's not some badge of honour (or indicative of squad quality) pissing away dead money on agents (parasites) fees.

We’d still be sixth. Newcastle spend a couple of million a year less than us and Villa a couple of million more. Not enough to move the needle.Gotta include wages though. Transfer fees alone are less than 50% of the spending on squads.
Because our transfer target list changes if we are prepping a squad to win now in the CL or continuing to build with young players in one competition per week
Sure - but it’s part of the great for securing top players unfortunately now and againIt's not some badge of honour (or indicative of squad quality) pissing away dead money on agents (parasites) fees.
Im not suggesting we sacrifice their lives, just move one or two on and build depth in other positions. We don’t need four ‘potential’ left attackers…. We need one first teamer and one potentialFFS!
Yang (only just turned 19!) literally only arrived in Europe a few months back and has not kicked a ball for us.
Odobert (20) has mostly been injured but looked bright when he has appeared.
Get a grip.
"We have now tasted success and we are determined to use this as a springboard for more."
Let's hope he stays true to these words.

I still dont get it.....
You're saying if we ended up finishing pot-less and 17th you wouldn't have wanted the supposedly better, 'ready now' player?
I’m saying we’d have a completely different transfer target list
Want a top striker as well. Id have vardy for a year as well as third choice as impact sub.
Correct, that will not happen. Romero is one of the best centre backs in world football, whilst there are better players out there, they are not coming to Tottenham. This probably won't happen but I think we need to let go of Danso and possibly Dragusin and buy somebody that can actually play better than Romero as a first choice defender.
