The way people have memory-holed our Top 5 finish in Ange's first season, improving our prior season's point total with a radically different style of play and no replacement for Harry Kane, is really crazy to me.If you really believe Top 5 is possible with Ange next season then agree to disagree but fair enuf
The degree of difficulty Ange has faced here is enormously high. At least some of those problems he has created himself, and I think the case for sacking him mostly hinges on the likelihood that he will continue to make the job harder than it needs to be, but we could and probably should be in so, so much worse shape from where he started.
This is only a job that can attract a better manager than Ange because of what he's accomplished.
