Transfers The Summer Transfer Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

You prefer Lankshear over Solanke? The same Lankshear who couldn't get a game for WBA never mind a goal.
i know it makes no sese no paper but i still believe Lankshear will be a world class striker
and having players from the youth in the team like barca did would be better

i hope im wrong about Solanke but i think he will be a other soldado and will be a major bust next season
ppl say he not get feed enough , but what i see is more of him just being not at the right place for players to pass to him

FREE TRANSFER!! Music to Levy’s ears -If Sane will take a bit of wage cut (down to say Werner’s wage level) on a 2 or 3 year deal then why not? Or is a wage cut not realistic? Perhaps wishful thinking but he’s already made a TON of money in his career and if the reports about his missus wanting to be in London are true …

We really need experience in the squad and we’re not in a position to be turning our noses up at a player of Sane’s quality on a FREE.

He can play on both sides and presumably he’ll be a good veteran presence/mentor to Moore, Oddobert and Yang.

Sane would be a great signing on a free.

It sounds like he wants to live in London with his family, hence why it's possible.

Unlike Woolwich, we can offer him a guaranteed spot in our team as a RW.

We aren't going to sign anyone until we have a new manager to announce his play-style, surely?

Which makes me wonder if Levy is keeping Ange at least until he feels like he's got a genuine upgrade, otherwise he'd be sacking him with no plan of a replacement. I think he's on borrowed time but that doesn't help with transfer plans. If he's staying, Levy should announce it.
Agreed... I think Glasner coz he plays attacking football... But he has a plan B... Even a plan C... Unlike Ange.. Who I like as a person, I just don't think he has the tactical know how to take us forward

I'm not sure about that - whatever anyone's position on BJ (scores lots of goals vs contributes very little else etc), it would be a bit strange to guarantee our top scorer's place to someone else... :/ I'm pretty sure BJ would still get a fair number of games too. However perhaps Sane would play some games on the left?

Do you know what... I love Ben Davies... Not overally talented but he has never moaned about his place in the team and he has been loyal for so many years... In my mind he is a legend and if he does move on, he deserves every bit of luck he can get, he is a Legend that bloke

Fans are quick to forget that in our best era under Poch (namely the 2016/18 and 2017/18 seasons), when we had the best defense and attack in the country, Ben Davies played significantly more games than Danny Rose, starting 59 games across those two seasons (compared to Rose's 37).

they would be my dream transfers
also would love to see more youth players in and more mediocre players out

even with lankshear not having a good loan i would prefer him over our other strikers
same with moore
(still think the way of success is having a core of english/players who identifies with the club and then some ready world class players)
like barca did

Ruiz is likely retiring at PSG, Gyokeres is off to Juventus by the sounds of it and Woolwich have just about sealed the Zubimendi deal.
