Asking is a good way to find out for sure, but personally I want a manager with a CV of getting teams over the line.

Conte and Jose did but their football was not what the fans wanted and didnt suit the players.

Looking at our side, it doesn't look like a Frank side IMHO and stabilising Brentford in the prem is not a good enough CV for me. I've watched Anges team rip his to shreds...
. Let that sink in.

So we need, in my opinion, a manager who is going to suit the players and has a winning pedigree. Anything else and we are 100% going to be back here having g this convo next summer.
What exactly is a “Frank side”?

He is an adaptive manager. He doesn’t have a preferred style.

I care what Ange says as long as he keeps proving most people wrong in the trophy department.

Sir Alex was an egotistical bloke in his pomp. Prime Mourinho was egotistical. I disagree with half of the shit Ange comes out with, especially to the media or the fans, but he proved me and others wrong two seasons in a row with some of his own self-image and the self-image he is creating for the club.

I believed Jose earned his League Cup final and Poch earned his chance of finishing one season in the bottom half, whilst still in the Champions League knockout stages with poor recruitment. Both managers were sacked at incorrect times mid-season in my opinion, even if both played shite football in the league and the league form deteriorated that season.

And no actually. Not a lot of teams with the 6th and 7th best wage budget in the Premier League who sell their best strikers do well in any form of Europe and the Premier League at the same time.

I expected Ange to finish 8th-14th in his first season. He was first after ten games and finished 5th. I expected him to finish CL or a trophy in his second season. He did both. So if I expect him to finish 5th and get an FA Cup next season, he may well get relegated and win the Champions League and I would not give a fuck...

Fuck off comparing Ange to Sir Alex or Jose. Holy shit. These guys earned their ego by winning leagues and champions leagues, not by finishing 17th domestically and winning a Europa League.

Of course they do lol. We spent hundreds of millions under Ange.

8th-14th? Are you ok?

He's not winning the CL or the FA cup or anything else because it would require beating top premier league sides and not 16th placed Man United. Wake up.

Winning the EL is a great achievement but the league form and quality of performance was unforgiveable, but for 3 substandard promoted teams, we could easily have faced relegation, let's not forget we lost at home to 2 of these teams.

If we retain Ange I think it's a failure of duty of care, we got 1 point from our last 6 prem games, it's like leaving a wolf to manage a chicken coop.

Part one is deciding to let Ange go, and I'm pro that, as for who comes in next, in terms of part two, I'd hope Paratici would oversee that and whoever does come in gets our playing system working more effectively, I'm sick of us seeing us give away so many cheap avoidable goals.

Post of the day for me. Yes.

Frank is a steady mid table manager/coach …..yeah Newcastle has got great return on their 400 million
they’ve spent👍

400 million to go from relegation candidates to CL regulars and multiple cup finals including winning one of them against the actual champions?

Not a bad fucking return. How much have we spent on Ange so far?

They will be if we go around appointing Brentford’s manager ( recognising not everyone agrees )

Listen frank may come here and be a bust but this makes no sense. We hired saints manager when we got poch yet he took us on quite a ride. We hired harry and again the football was excellent. At the end of the day all the managers people have suggested or we have been linked with, we just dont know how its going to all play out. The one thing that will be consistent is levy in the transfer market.

Why would Frank join us? He’s got a good thing going at Brentford and makes only slightly less money than Ange.

So unless Levy doubles Frank’s wage - why would Frank join a club he finished 8 places above with much higher expectations that has a history of sacking managers?

This shit will never not amuse me! Of fucking course he wanted the gig mad how some of our own fans enjoy punching down on this great club
