No one has rejected us.

Mbuemo hasn't rejected us.

Everyone's on holiday ffs. It's just Ornstein being his usual self.

Look at the other names mentioned in there. Is anyone actually, really, convinced that he turned down Woolwich (2nd) and Newcastle (5th) - both of whom are in CL and are in no way accused of being thrifty on wages - never mind us, so he can join Man Utd?

As I said earlier, only our own fans are so self-deprecating that they cling on to the mere scent of trashing the club to believe this stuff

I don't remember seeing any links between Spurs and Mbuemo. Newcastle and United have always been the clubs mentioned.

Read Levy wants a marquee signing. Lets hope it happens and dont mean he buys a marquee for the training ground.

Who did we sign of significance when we had Poch anyway?

This exquisite athlete

I know Mbuemo and Cunha are good players, but whenever I see a player going to United I automatically downgrade them in my mind.

Their last five years of signings are probably the worst sustained transfer stretch in the history of football. I know they’ve changed recruitment staff about 3 times, but I still don’t want to be linked to players they’re after and maybe that’s totally irrational, but everything they touch turns to shite.
