Do clubs really care about psychological services though? I know they are virtue signalling that they do in the media but Paul McVeigh was saying on TalkSport that the reality is it will be one session per week that is always binned off for something else.

I mean, I kind of get both arguments. One argument is that the self-image of a player is as important as his physicality, technique, and social environment. But the other argument is that shrinks probably make 60% of people worse, and the players are rich enough to hire better ones privately.
