I hear this point and think Ange should hold his hand up and admit that he could have tried to play shithouse football during the injury crisis, just to eek out some more points.

I don't know why he didn't and it's pointless for me to guess.

If we hadn't won the EL it should and would have cost him his job but he did win it.

Saying that, if we start next season playing shithouse football in the PL, then I'll want him out before anyone.

There's never complete certainty, however every single manager was once at the stage where they'd won nothing. Smart teams look at a managers tactical ability and man management skills to make their appointments, not how many trophies someone has won.
What had Poch won before we took him on? Absolutely nothing.

Imagine if PSG had the same mindset, that we only take managers that have won something...
However, they obviously looked at him and thought, 'He managed to get Tottenham to a Champions League final! He must have something about him'.

The same way we should look at Frank and recognise that he's built Brentford into a stable Premier League team despite the restricted finances available from a club that size. What trophies would we actually expect him to win with Brentford against Liverpool, Man City, Arse etc....
Brentford are barely bigger than Carlisle Utd . 2 top half finishes in 4 years. Loads of injuries. Had a full back 4 out at one time. Deserves a chance with us. I’m sure he won’t stand on the touch line shaking his head . He will actually do something.

Why would you want Brentford's manager, who is used to working under financial constraints that make the miser look generous?

Is it because he will tug his forelock to the miser and do as he is told like Ange?

THFC need a first class manager and a first class board of directors to cater for the first class supporters that ENiC, Levy and Ange do not deserve.

250, 000 people on the Streets of N17 cannot be wrong.

We deserve better.

It's just who we are mate.
I didn't say I wanted him as manager just a bit unfair to say Nuno is better just because he finished above him with a squad with a much higher wage bill that had no injuries all season.

I get it, I'm not high on Frank either. Persisting with Ange just because you don't like Frank would be suicide. It's not the the results in the league that is worrying, it's the way we "play"
I see your angle too mate. Guess I'm coming at it from the other side where just because Frank might be an upgrade on Ange (certainly from an organisational and tactical view) doesn't mean he's a good option or fit for us.
