Err.... I stated the nature of injuries...
May be some more details...

Mbuemo , Pinnock, Janelt- ankle injuries
Rico Henry - ACL
Igor Thiago, - menniscus
Da Silva - knee
Schade, Jensen- adductor
Hickey - torn hamstring

One may be two had muscles injuries...
Otherwise, rest of them, did not suffer the kind of injuries Ange team suffers....

Unless you have proof that , Frank took a hammer and took out the knees of Henry, Thiago , Da Silva and he made scissor tackles on Mbuemo , Pinnock, Janelt.... he did not cause these injuries :)

I’m not saying he did, you are assuming it’s reasonable to give Ange 100% of the blame for ours and Frank 0% of the blame for his

If he'd have done that more in the Premier League because of injuries we might not have been hovering next to the relegation zone, and mugging off the paying supporters with loss after loss, x 22.

I hear this point and think Ange should hold his hand up and admit that he could have tried to play shithouse football during the injury crisis, just to eek out some more points.

I don't know why he didn't and it's pointless for me to guess.

If we hadn't won the EL it should and would have cost him his job but he did win it.

Saying that, if we start next season playing shithouse football in the PL, then I'll want him out before anyone.

Listened to TEI on the way to work.

Even in the championship Frank was very basic in his approach to possession and playing through set defenders in mid/low blocks.

Brentfords entire data and recruitment model is built around playing against teams that dominate the ball.

Assuming you can just plug Frank into Spurs where he will have the ball 80% of games is exactly the kind of reactionary mindless flip flop this club has done in the Levy era.

Yeah the more I read up on Frank, the more i think he's actually perfect for Spurs, but for all the wrong reasons.

He's used to working with so little he has to be very tactically flexible and therefore never developed an identity.

Perfect muppet for Levy

Moderation is the name of the game, we need a bit of both when the circumstances call for it, ie not charging at Chelsea when we're down to 9 men. If Postecoglou was more sensible I wouldn't be against him, it seems like every team in the Premier League knew how to overcome the set up, even Ipswich and Leicester.

I don't want to see all this passing around in defence, which usually doesn't help the team to achieve any sort of advantage. Nor do I want to see the team play without a RB and LB in position so that it's easy for opposition teams to get in dangerous situations when there is a turnover of possession in midfield.

One season and they only finished 9 points ahead in the end. Forest have a 50% higher wage bill (Brentford have the second lowest in the league).

Hard to say how he would do at a bigger club but he's hardly a shit manager and has done an amazing job at Brentford.
Why would you want Brentford's manager, who is used to working under financial constraints that make the miser look generous?

Is it because he will tug his forelock to the miser and do as he is told like Ange?

THFC need a first class manager and a first class board of directors to cater for the first class supporters that ENiC, Levy and Ange do not deserve.

250, 000 people on the Streets of N17 cannot be wrong.

We deserve better.

It's just who we are mate.

Moderation should mean we can expect moderate results though?

I definitely think Ange needs to adapt the way he presses and if he hasn't shown that early in the season then he deserves to go inside the first 10 games. In fact, he did adapt the press against Frankfurt at home and Bodo at home, so he can do it.

The Inverted FBs can be dependant on the game/opponent as well but as we saw with PSG rotating players positions to make sure they cover each other, it can work but there's no point inverting FBs when your MFs aren't smart enough to rotate and cover them from the other side of the pitch when they are inverting or overlapping to create overloads.

Again, of Ange hasn't shown a change in that within the first 10 games, he deserves to go.

I'm more than OK with doing things differently but he has to show that he can adapt his different ideas to get more reliable results in this league.

That's actually strange. NOTHING is working for Ange atm. We are being dominated in every aspect of the game. Ange has to go regardless! Thank you for Bilbao but time is up
It's beyond parody now.

We've been sticking with Ange since the Autumn because neither Mason, Wells or any of the managers linked to the job were good enough.

Now because Levy's preferred managerial appointments are also not good enough they want to stick it out with Ange again.

Levy must be a fucking magician or something similar.

I think Frank is a bad fit and I'm worried that a bad start could see the squad almost revolt against him. Feels like it'll end like it did with Nuno.

Ange has the unity of the squad. Not something we've had in the past. I'd say we could give him another season.

We have champions league football next year. I'd rather stick with the manager who just won us the Europa League rather than gamble on a manager who has never coached in Europe before. Frank could be totally out of his depth with rotation and all that. He's never had this amount of games before. At least Ange can learn from all the mistakes he made last season. He will rotate this time and manage the squad alot better.

It is possible for a drink driver to get you home safely.

Just because the drink driver gets you home safely on one occasion; it's not a good enough excuse to do it again because you have doubts about the other taxi drivers offering you a lift.

Ange had coached in Europe before, very unsuccessfully with Celtic . Never won a CL match, beaten by Bodo and Mydtiland . So why bother with him, we are in champ lge , forget it with him.

I get it, I'm not high on Frank either. Persisting with Ange just because you don't like Frank would be suicide. It's not the the results in the league that is worrying, it's the way we "play"
