Mentioned him a few times, he's a decent player on the ball but really lacking off it. Almost 23 now and still not sure he's ready for the pace of the Prem.

Nah. Had to Google the cunt.Mentioned him a few times, he's a decent player on the ball but really lacking off it. Almost 23 now and still not sure he's ready for the pace of the Prem.
Fuck the Athletic too; they peddle the same scaremongering clickbait about us every window too.
Cunts.
Wasn’t it written by an accountant as well? In general I don’t really have many issues with Athletic Spurs articles. They’re a far cry from the likes of Matt Law or Ben Jacobs.

Point remains... They're just peddling panic-porn.
They concoct some BS story or another about us having to "sell to buy" every window.
We're going to have to agree to disagree. Haven't kept up with the bulk of their articles in the last year orso, but prior to that it was hardly scare mongering, or pandering to the fanbase's feelings. It's the same crap... Just more column inches and hipsterisms.

Solomon being reintegrated into the squad is going to be a decision that lies entirely with the manager, whomever that may be. His stock has risen enough at Leeds and we paid nothing, we can basically do no wrong in selling him, so you can be sure that whether he stays or goes will be entirely predicated on ability. This window has all the feeling of being one of our very worst in comparative terms.
I can see us barely improving the starting eleven and providing very little in terns of bolstering the back-up players.
Solomon to return, Son possibly to UAE, and doubts over other players staying, just give a sense of the bar lowering...
Certainly we are nowhere near the aspirations of the top 5 or 6 teams, who will get stronger as we tread water.
Something does not feel right.

Frankly I don't think we should be too hasty to write off a player like Solomon, yes he is never going to be Gareth Bale, but there's nothing to say he can't be that Chadli/Wimmer type player who patches a hole in the squad for a year or two and is sold on at a healthy profit. It's naive to think we are going to fix every hole in the squad in the next window, we are in need of 5 or 6 quality senior players to properly challenge for things again, it makes sense to give some minutes to Solomon in pre-season and judge where he is at so we can make a decision on cashing in or making use of him so we can strengthen in other areas.
Frankly it seems to me that we might have been better off keeping Solomon here and not loaning Werner this season.
Will be another loan with optionIs he really worth all that effort. He showed nothing 6 mo the even though we paid a massive loan fee for an unproven 19 ye old. The fact BM want to get rid should have red flags all over it. I don’t see anyone else going in for him. Where is the market for him. As loan signing for that money he needed to be a game changer yet he couldn’t even a get a place on the wing ahead of that other great winger Richi. Infact he didn’t even get a minute in the final. Just save the money but someone with real quality and ffs develop the young wingers already at the club.
Kerkez is going to Liverpool, Palace will likely sell Eze so no chance Wharton leaves, Southampton want silly money for Dibling, Brighton want silly money for anyone now so Minteh is off the cards, Garnacho is pony, Yoro has been at Utd for one season and was signed by them for more money than we have ever paid for a defender, Kayode made his Brentford deal permanent just last month (could be a goer in a year if Frank comes maybe), Oscar Bobb is a possibility but big question marks over his ability to bounce back from a bad injury that's kept him sidelined most of the season and to be honest hasn't shown an awful lot at City in his limited appearances so far. Can't see Levy abandoning his youth project just yet.
There are plenty of good young players in the PL that we could go after that are still available, Wharton, Minteh, Dibbling, Kerkez, Kayode, Yoro, Garnacho and Bobb.
All good young players with PL experience and plenty of upside.
Yup , I concur this guy is quality, good physicality already, good pace , got some bite in him too & top technically .Good. Very good. Over the last week I've fantasized more and more over us picking up Froholdt (yeah I know, sad life). I'm always wary of bigging up players from the Danish league 'cos there is a fair gap. Yann Bisseck played for my local team and we absolutely loved him here. Yet, I felt he needed a mid- or sub-top team in Germany before going to a top club - he went straight to Inter. Victor is different gravy.
I have never seen anything as dominant in the Danish league, at least not anything I can think of, and there's been some decent talent and established players here. Victor being a "runner" is probably not the sexy technical gifted player we're all longing for, but I could see him up there with players like Barella and Joao Neves within a short time.
Copenhagen would most likely want to set a new transfer record for players out of Denmark. I could google this but I think Kamaldeen Sulemana is current record at around £17m. So probably around £20-25m for Victor, which would seem fair.
With our luck he smashes it for Denmark on Saturday and Tuesday and drives up the interest. On form he should start ahead of either Højbjerg or Hjulmand but they will probably start against Northern Ireland on Saturday and then Victor could start Tuesday against Lithuania.
A journo asked him what the longest was he had run in a game. He said 17.4 kilometres in a match against Heidenheim. I don't know how that stacks up against other "runners" but that's a hella lot. He'll be spent at 25 but...mañana
