Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I don't think the club will sign anyone until,
A- they know who the manager will be.
B- sell first before they buy.
Yet again, it sounds like the club is a disaster behind the scenes two weeks after a European trophy win.
Seems like they were expecting to lose the EL final and have had all of their plans scuppered when we actually won. Now they not sure what to do.

Spend big to improve the starting team and try to challenge for more trophies or stick to the safer, cheaper options and hope to get lucky.

Bergvall? Bergvall was first team ready mate, despite his age. His only really bad performance was Galatasaray away, and that was his first start.
I dont agree with that. He looks very raw to me. Hes good on the ball, not so good of it. Midfield is porous with him in it. It gets overrun by better teams. We finished 17th for a reason.

Hes not ready for a top 6 side. Thats not a dig, he is a teenager. But he has no business starting against Liverpool for eg.

We see this every year.
Yet you consistently refuse to hold Levy / ENIC responsible and regularly attack any other poster that does!
You're a proper oddball

In part correct, that I don't/never have and never will subscribe to a view that says we should spend stupid money.

I have also bee consistent in saying it's plain stupid to berate when we don't win things to the point of saying under ENIC/Levywe can't win anything because what happens when we do? And surprise surprise. A loy of that group have now gone quiet or moved the goal posts.

My point now is that the managerial situation remains unanswered, that there appears to be zero transfer plan and that our rivals (small r), who are already ahead of us are on the upgrade trail whilst we appear to be doing nada. Mind the ever-growing gap.

And that this situation just feels unusual to the point of believing an announcement on something more than just managerial change might be on the way.

It's obvious the club are ignoring this window and will become active in the 2nd window

At least that what we hope...

So, I’m picking at this a bit mate.

He wasn’t ready for the PL when he first arrived. You could see he already had PL level ability but it took him 3-4 months to adjust to the pace and speed of decisions and physically he actually started to see the benefits of the weight room after 4-5 months imo

According to Italian outlet CalcioMercato, Inter’s bosses will meet with Tottenham to negotiate swapping defenders Dragusin and Yann Bisseck.

That would be well worth doing, Dragusin will never be a PL player.
