I was wrong.
I didn’t realize winning would be as monumental as it was. It had been a looong time since I’d experienced it

What part of what I said was wrong?
And give reasons why they were wrong.
I will counter everything you can come up with, with actual facts.
I could write the retorts first for shits n giggles.
1) He was at the bottom of the pyramid for most of his career. Australia. Greek lower level. Japan. Australia U20's and mens teams. This is fact. He then went to the SPL. Fifa rank the SPL as the 43rd in the world. You should see the shit above it.
2) Who else spends nearly 30 years at the bottom of the pyramid and then goes straight into the PL? Gerrard? He was shit.
3) Name me a single Spurs manager since the 80's that has been allowed to lose so many games and not get sacked.
4) When was the last time the Europa League simultaneously offered Champions League football for the win AND didn't have Champions League teams drop into it in the knock out stages?
Club Statement:
"The club would like to confirm that we are going to hand back the Europa League trophy. We don't feel worthy of it after losing 22 league games last season. From our perspective, the trophy drought will continue until we win only the hardest competition that we are in. I hope this brings clarity to our fanbase who were confusing last season to be a good season"
I genuinely think some posters on here want this to happen! LOL
I'll try to be as kind as I can to the situation, but it is hard. That league finish has really muddled everything, really, really badly.
Or the cup win has.
Whichever way you look at it, it's a massive juxtaposition that very few teams, if any, will have had to deal with.
Do we need a poll?I'm going to guess there will be a press release for Ange's stay/departure at 4pm.
No. Read the article.
Nothing.
No, a third won’t do, it would need to be all of him as manager if we stand any chance of success.

I couldn't even GIVE my season ticket away most of last season.I'll try to be as kind as I can to the situation, but it is hard.
This season, we must all surely be able to agree that it is ultimate proof that you don't have to be a good or consistent team to win a trophy. You just have to get the results on the day. It's a short amount of results required, too. Get out of the league phase in any way and there's 4 games on the way to winning it (R16, QF, SF, F).
Now it obviously involves some performances and some tactical skill along the way. There's an element of luck in the draw, but any team can be any on the day.
In the league, you can't do that. If anything, Ange's first 10 games show that if the PL as a cup, we'd have won it. The problem is, it is 38 games that occur over 10 months or so. You don't play on a game-by-game basis because of the 'positioning'. All results contribute, as do goal differences. In a cup, the group stage is forgotten and irrelevant. The closest you get is legged stages.
I would love to know how many season ticket holders would pay the price they do to turn up and know we were going to lose those games, but have the reassurance that we might put some effort in for a cup game
I'm on about the list of Europa League managers ranging from absolute nobodies to elite coaches but also having some of the very best ever to grace the game never even bothering to try winning it.
It's meaningless for that very reason. Ange hasn't joined some very special club because we won it.

To be fair, Olympiacos would be more his speed having won 20/25 of the Greek first division titles on offer in the 21st century, maybe he can take them to a "historic" double and con his way back into a top job again.
You can convince yourself of whatever you want mate. its meaningless to you, but pretending its meaningless in general or to those who achieve it is just projection.

You're asking a bit much of him there tbhI was replying to a comment, that was a reply to another comment . You need to read the thread.
yea course, its moved cos enough money has been put on it to move the market, but that might mean someones leaked something.Gambling odds driven by bettings placed. A few addicts lumping sums on this doesn't mean it's more or less likely.
