No decision to make for me personally, never was or will be a gooner, especially of the troll variety, only want the best for Spurs not 17th in the league with 22 defeats, something that's unacceptable if you're actually a fan but music to your ears if you're not.

I do wonder why those who deem it unacceptable are gooner trolls in your eyes but those who want it to continue are not?

I know if that lot won the Europa or any domestic cup whilst finishing 17th with 22 defeats I'd be taking the piss and wanting their gaffer to stay, as I'm sure most Spurs fans would, food for thought.

Europa League Winners = music to my ears and every Spurs fan I know.

Gooners are terrified that the guy that made it happen and got the monkey off our back might stick around and do it again.

yea im the deluded one. if you think postecoglou should be kept after 2 years of evidence pointing to him being a sunday league pub manager then you are beyond stupid.

During this time of speculation about Postecoglou I've lost much of the little confidence I had in the football press. I've seen journalists (including ones I like) talking about how nothing is happening, Postecoglou doesn't know where he stands, and Levy hasn't made up his mind about any of it. How likely is any of that to be true? Organizations, even Spurs, don't operate like that. As soon as one season ends, preparation for the next begins. The decision on his future was probably made during the season. What he's said, and how he has portrayed what he knows, could be as simple as Postecoglou knowing the plan is to fire him and waging a PR offensive to keep the job.

Just have a think, What do you expect this club to achieve under these owners?
Top 4? Top 6? regular champions league football?
I'd say with this squad and the way the clubs around us are moving, now having to contend with resurgent Newcastle and Villa that's going to be a tough ask under these owners.

So what is the next best REALISTIC target.

I'll clue you in, its a domestic cup or if we are lucky a Europa which gives CL football.

Would you honestly rather finish 6th and win fuck all like Forest. Or 17th and a trophy and in the champions league next season.

I was fully entertained the whole game during the Final.

Obviously don't want to see Ange serve that up on the regular but as a means to win a game with all our creative players injured, it was fine with me.


Anwya, this is boring. You prefer top 4 to trophies and you are entitled to that. That couldn't be further from the reason I love sport.

When we finished top 4, I liked the fact we won plenty of games, but it still felt empty at the end i.e. another season without a trophy, and then another tough season of mixing league and CL fixtures, where you can't exactly field a weakened team or you definitely lose. The fact is we never built on the top 4 by buying top-4 quality players, so it didn't last, and we are where we are.

This summer, Levy and co really need to build a squad of capable players i.e. the next 5 outside the first 11 need to be able to come in and do well. It's a tall order and something that should have been an ongoing project since the CL final, so I guess that was the time to do it, but the second best time is now!
