This fanbase is a basket case.
It's repeatable because they have done it now. Ange in this team have got over the line and they know how to win together.
The guy who posted this video goes to every single spurs game home and away and wants ange gone, for those who don’t believe any match going fans want him out .
How anyone watches vids like this and still eat up everything this man says is beyond me. Some out there genuinely believe he sacked off the league in favour of the Europa in January when you can just look at our team selections to prove that was obviously a lie.
Ange in this video would be ange out and for the exact reasons some of us on here want him gone, consistently finishing high in the league means you are a trending upwards as a team and have more chance consistently fighting for trophies. People seem to think because we didn’t get over the line under Poch that finishing higher in the league doesn’t matter. All you have to do is look at the last 10 years of teams who have won trophies and you will see it’s majority from the top sides at the top end of the table. I’ve not seen any team finish as low as we did and have as poor of a league season be able to just turn it around next year and suddenly be consistent.

It is boring when Ange supporters facetiously present top 4 OR trophy as an either-or option. Maresca has just done exactly that in his first season at Chavs with a squad he was completely unfamiliar with. We finished above them last season and they stepped off the spending the season just gone, neither team were in europe last season but both were this season. Maresca was at Leicester, clearly it isn't out of the realms of possibility we could find someone capable of getting us over the line in a cup and actually performing in the league.

The problem with this outlook of some fans is that the more logical fans are made to sound like gooners pointing out that we had a rather easier run to the final and the standard of opposition faced including the worst United team in decades, had a significant influence on that win.
If we had demolished United you may have a point, but it was an incredibly poor offensive display, a scuffed goal albeit a resolute defensive display, but against a United strike force that couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo!
In my opinion that 90 minutes of football, combined with the domestic form last season is no basis to assume Postecoglou is the man to take us forward.

It’s a binary choice for some that assume wanting Ange gone makes you less of a Spurs fan!
It shouldn't be either or but comparing us to Chelsea who spend literally billions on their first team squad is mind-boggling.
Ange could have and should have finished higher but if you think this squad was really built to compete across 60+ games when they fleshed out the depth with 3 teenagers and an academy kid, then I don't know what to say to you.
But regardless of that, we did win the EL and people are advocating sacking the manager for a new manager who has never won a sausage but will likely get us closer to top 4.

I'm just being real given the owners we have.
Its not as easy to get into the top 4 anymore. Was a time if one of City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Liverpool, United were off it we had a good chance.
Now we are also competing with the likes of Villa and Newcastle in the mix both of which I would argue have better squads than us.
Of course you aim as high as you can, but without the investment what are you honestly expecting?
He signed off on the squad, he gave the green light to go and buy Gray, he personally wanted Odobert, at what point did his own actions become excuses to defend him with?
We were ahead of Chelsea last season in the same circumstances as them, we spent more than they did last season, they've gone and won a European trophy this season and finished 4th having spent less and going through a new manager's first season. United are proof plenty that spending hundreds of millions on players does not equate directly to success. So actually I think it's entirely fair to compare us to a team that finished 1 place beneath us last season and 13 places ahead of us this season, having also won a European title of their own.
you guys keep saying this over and over like it's some irrefutable gotcha line and it's simply not true. i've not seen one person say that and the fact that you guys have to twist the truth to make your point speaks volumes.

Same. Can want Ange replaced without constantly shitting on the EL achievement, saying its second rate or that you'd prefer the FA cup or that you're going to have a massive tantrum and leave football altogether if the manager isn't sacked.
Edit: or suggest that anyone who does want to keep the manager is a deluded cultist just as those who want him sacked are secret gooners
