I didn't air my views on the internet, but I was also very pro-Ange when conte left too. So my judgement is awful
I wanted Frank when he was first mentioned, I also wanted Thomas Tuchel
Please let it not be Frank. This squad needs an elite manager who knows how to get the max out of the resources of an elite club and knows how to work under the spotlight and scrutiny of an elite club. He also needs to be a project manager because this squad age wise is set to peak in like 5 years.
No elite manager will work here.

An honest press release would read something like this
We are relieved to announce the appointment of Thomas Frank as our new head coach
Thomas has proved he can work with a limited budget and can maintain consistent mid table finishes on a shoe string while being prepared to sacrifice the domestic cup distractions to maintain a respectable league campaign.
We look forward to him developing our young stars so we can avoid paying big wages and then sell them when they reach their full potential.
I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing Thomas success in his new role.

Same could have been said about Poch when he joined us also and he was great for us.
I like Frank as a manager. Franks a good manager that gets a lot out of squad that's not that great that also lost it's best player this season. Will be be a success I don't know, issue at this club to success isn't who manages it's who owns us. Until that changes nights like Bilbao will be very very rare and I've come to accept that
You can tell that's the plan though and that's the depressing thing. Built this mega stadium and all the stuff around it just to make us a more valuable asset and until the owners fuck off we won't be serious about anything other then money and bottom line for them

Frank doesn't really have a style is my understanding of him. Changed it multiple times at Brentford switched from a back 3 to a back 4 and changed again when he lost Toney to get the best of Mbeumo or however it's spelt
So tiring to say, and no one answers - but why the fuck did we put £400m+ net into the squad in recent years if that was even remotely true.

For the record according to transfermarket net spend in last five seasons has been £481 million which is slightly higher than the Woolwich but the answer will come back but we don't buy elite players.
