Management Thomas Frank

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Unlike those, Frank appears much more flexible in his approach though. He wouldn't play Conte murderball in most instances.

And no thanks to the "chosen one" talk, I've had enough of people round here treating managers in a quasi religious manner.
He has done well with Brentford, but imv, he has found his level.

I don’t think he can do any better than Ange. His Brentford team can score on the counter but they also leak goals defensively.

In fact, we did the double over them in our worst ever PL campaign.

Exactly... let that sink in. In 4 games against shitty Ange, Frank' couldn't beat him including the double last season when we lost 22 fucking games.

Did Poch earn the right to be in Europa? He had no European football experience either.

That's a weird argument to use against a manager. That they didn't help the team they're joining to qualify for Europe the previous season (when they werent managing them).

We were not a UEFA Cup club when Jol took over. He earned that right. We were not a Champions League club when Arry took over. He earned that. We were not a Champions League club when Poch took over, and Poch earned the right to be in the Champions League.

Again, we were not even a Europa League club when Ange took over. He earned a Europa League place. Then he earned a Champions League place. He will be the only Spurs manager to not play in the CL that he qualified for. That is a mistake.

For me, it's irrational to back a manager who finished 9th with Brentford more than a man who took over with Spurs in 8th, finished 5th with Spurs, and then won a European Cup in his first season back in Europe, when no one else could do it for 41 years.

Is that weird of me? Ok.

Same can be said about Pep who lost by 4 to us. There's a thing I dodn't know you are aware of, it's called statistics, and according to them we lost 22 EPL games last season.

Not weird at all. You’ve got to remember that sentiment on TFC tends to swing to extremes and doesn’t always reflect the views of match-going fans, who, I reckon, are probably more pro-Ange than the average keyboard warrior on here.

What I expect from the Wedding Coordinator

Top 6 finish
Competitive performance in the cups (including CL)
Better results against Woolwich and Chelsea
Pragmatic approach to squad management
Defensive organisation
Full utilisation of squad potential

Another trophy and high quality football would be nice.

yea okay, but how are you going to explain the 22 losses and 17th place?
