I'm not a Frank fan (yet), but I was Ange out. It's impossible to say where we will end up with Frank (if it's him). The only thing I'm sure of that it will be better than it would have been with Ange.

I think we just need an adaptable, sensible manager to get us back to top 7 now. Who knows, he’s enthusiastic and bright but to be honest, I think top players might think he’s a bit of a tool - there are similarities to Poch in terms of approach and thinking but I’m not sure he has the same aura
Agree on Glasner but Frank has shown more than Iraola. We couldn’t afford Galsner, Palace have more ambitious ownership so that would be a tricky and expensive deal to cut. With our sell to buy, wage slashed finances then there’s no chance
If all we wanted is top 7 then there was no need for a change in manager. Mediocrity is what the club has had for decades, it seems we are going back to it.

Personally I think he's worth a go. He certainly has certain attributes that would work to our advantage.
This may not work out but the simple fact is Brentford are a smaller club than Derby or Southampton, or Sheffield Utd etc etc . One could argue that not only should they get relegated they should have set a lowest points record in the process . Has had to sell Watkins and Toney , with their size that is like selling two Kane type essential players . I think the job he has done is phenomenal at Brentford so if it is him I will not be having a meltdown .

Ultimately we want a manager who has proven he's done the very best he can at whichever club that is, whether that's in the PL or a European league.
Frank ticks that box. He'll also be a calming influence at the club. Again, something we need.
We can all float names like Xavi and Inzaghi, but they could easily end up being a disaster here for many reasons.

I have a good feeling about Frank. He's a good coach and tactically he's definitely switched on.
He's unassuming type of guy, just gets on with it but there's a little charisma about him as well.
He strikes me as a quietly confident type who's very driven.
Think he's a good fit all round.
