glad not everyone deciding Frank has the job as he does not excite me and it will be back to chasing the Top 4/5 non trophy. Glasner won the F A cup and could open up for a couple of Palace players we are interested in following would be my choice.
If we really wanna get Eze in, we should at least consider Glasner... unless Eze can't stand him and wants a change of manager too!!

Sebastian Hoeness of Stutgart would be interesting. He's 42 and on the way up. His teams move the ball very well and create openings.
I'll have a 'P' please Seb..

If you know, you know!

All arrows point to Frank being a done deal at this stage, be very surprised if anyone else gets it now.
An unsurprising appointment by Levy, who no doubt sees Frank as a safe pair of hands after a previous very unstable league run.
Let's hope for once, just once the new manager is properly backed, pay the wages and they will come.

I hope we win the next 20 PL titles straight, roll PSG 8-0, and put a last minute goal past Woolwich to relegate them next season.....however we need to be realistic, the club is not in a position to do that. You could create a Ferguson/Pep/Ancelotti hybrid and they wouldn't get the job done because the thing holding us back at Spurs isn't the manager, it's way deeper.

So having unrealistic expectations of what a new manager can achieve, is only going to end one way....the same way we've seen 15 times already under Levy.
If Palace can do it so can we win the F a Cup after 34 years. Better than just qualifying for CL which we will not win but just satisfy Levy's quest for more money. With have won 1 trophy but need to keep it going.
Incidentally in the 1990's I decided that although I had seen Spurs win the League & England the world cup that neither will happen again in my lifetime. Still believe that.

That doesn't surprise me at all......

Yeah, it's like dating a girl who was checking out other blokes towards the end because you didn't fulfil her desires, and it doesn't work out.

However, you love her, she's back on the market, and you hope things would be different this time despite all the circumstances being the same.

Ultimately though if you don't buy her the flowers and expensive gifts she craves, her eyes will probably wander again!
It's nothing like that

We sacked Poch , his eyes didn't "wander"

If all the players love and miss Ange so much ( aside from their online messages typed by their PR’s ) what would happen if all 25 went up to levy’s office and demanded he be reinstated and if not they would play shite for the new coach.

since they are under contract professionals they would never do that. And I bet a lot of them don’t care one way or the other who the manager is as long as the checks are getting signed.

He would probably say that in PL games he wouldn’t be able to tell the difference!

Cringing at the #notofrank hashtag 😬
It worked for Gattuso so now some fans use it whenever there's a potential appointment that they don't like.. There was #NoToNuno and #NoToAnge trending before they were appointed as well. Just infantile.

It was justifiable for Gattuso because of his past comments... But Nuno, Ange and Frank are honourable men that didn't and don't deserve to walk into a poisonous atmosphere before they have the chance to even coach a game.

It's well rumoured that he was interested in the Manchester Utd and Real Madrid jobs.
He was dining with Sir Alex, talking in riddles when questioned about it in press conferences, and generally being sulky at the time.
It was only because Solskjaer improved results at Utd and Zidane went back to Madrid that an offer never materialised.

Ultimately he was sacked though yes, his demeanour got worse once those job offers never came.

Is that the extent of your hopes that we become CL regulars again.
No, but that's the step before challenging for the league and remaining a fixture at the top of said league.

The bonuses to revenue and recruitment of playing CL football gatekeep higher aspirations.
