I can't imagine how naive you have to be to think that a club with our absolute fucking horror show PR management will in any way shape or form help Frank to gel with the fans. If anything I'd say fucking ignore everything they say and be yourself, the interview his mate the current Denmark manager tells all you need to know about how much Frank rates the opportunity to come here and how big we are, therefore what we expect. It's hard to believe it took Fergie three seasons to win a trophy (whilst finishing 11th) and 7 years to win a title. The first 4 or 5 years was about overhauling the squad and building a winning culture at the club. In the modern game he'd have not seen out his second season.

I was Ange out due to league record but I thought his handling of the media was funny/brilliant - I think part of his popularity with the players is that Ange’s media style kept the focus off the players which if intentional = pretty brilliant.

but the previous manager was Gypsy Ron Atkinson. Covered in bling, turned a blind eye to the hard drinkers and alcoholics. Difficult ship to turn around. Before him it was Dave Sexton. Good tactician but not much of a disciplinarian. And Tommy doc who was fired for shagging the physios Missus.
