If Atleti get Theo, I'd be really interested in what happens to Lino. Great LB (especially offensively), who'd push Udogie to his limits.

That price is a steal if true !!!!!!
Stealing Mike D GIF by Beastie Boys

1 year left on his contract, and the old Milan guard has issues with the management (Theo, Leao, Maignan). That's why all of them will most likely be sold.

Also, if we're willing to spend +£60M on a LW like Semenyo, fucking try and go for Leao for the same price.
The new AC Milan management sure seems like they're totally dismantling the club, what the hell is going on there?

On the flipside, Atletico Madrid are so smart, I am always impressed with and jealous of them. That's what we could be if we got our shit together.

Ibra and his idiotic ego. Whatever Maldini built he's ruining it in 2 years. One of the worst things to happen to Milan.

Was having a think earlier about Eze and I’m not sure where he plays in a Thomas Frank team other than number 10.

Can’t see him wide left in a front 3, cause Frank seems to like proper pace and more inside forward type players, which isn’t Eze’s game.

And I don’t see Frank playing 2 number 10’s in a midfield 3 like Ange done with Maddison and Kulusevski. His system is far too structured and pragmatic for that most of the time (not saying that’s a bad thing).

So do we really need 3 top players who’ll all want to play every week in Maddison, Kulu and Eze vying for one position? Especially when we’ve got other gaping holes in the squad that need filled.

If one of them was to leave then it’s a different story. FWIW, I’d happily sell Kulu to get Eze in, I wonder if Kulu will be a great fit in a Frank team, I’ve never been totally sold on him as a number 10, and he definitely ain’t quick enough to play right of a front 3 under Frank.

I just don’t see how you keep the 3 of them happy in a more structured system that we’re expecting from Frank. They’d be an amazing 3 to rotate in the two 10’s under Ange, but I think one has to go before you sign him for Frank.

Man City since January

Khushanov 33m
Reis 29m
Mamoush 62m
Gonzalez 50m
Ait Nouri 31m
Cherki 30m
Reijnders 47m

Clearly no charges coming their way when you can spend nearly 300m in six months.

If only Levy had an ounce of that intent.

Club was bought in a dodgy fire sale for £2.5bn plus £1.5bn to be invested in the club for the stadium. They have spent close to £1.5bn on players so wonder if the stadium money has just been thrown at buying player assets. They are supposed to be a profit making investor company but Clearlake Captial has a ton of Saudi money so can’t tell if it’s just a Saudi front company.

If they are looking to make money and the £1.5bn has been spent on players we should see a slow down. The Chelsea sale was one of the most dodgy things ever, cheap value with the condition of massive investment driven by the U.K. government. The U.K. government literally supported a football team getting £1.5bn investment, corrupt as fuck.

A 1.5bn investment that makes no sense given the rules about cash injections for player purposes.

Not to mention the 1.6bn debt to Roman that they also had written off contrary to the rules.

That cunt hole of a club had a 3.1bn, rule-ducking, get out of jail free card, FFS.

I think with Johnson, Maddison, Kulusevski, Richy, Solanke we have enough finishers. £70m is high but we don’t have his profile in the squad. The alternatives are WillIams or Leao which is unrealistic or Dibling who isn’t ready.

You can only put XI on the pitch at once though...

People want Son & Johnson removed from the first XI.

Thus; whoever the fancy new wide player(s) are that people want; they need to be able to replace the goals of those 2.

I was really unimpressed with Bissouma's last two seasons, but I'd be willing to give him some time under Frank, as he bossed a lot of the games I saw him play for Brighton and there is something there for sure, He hasn't really earned it but I like a good story arc.

I buck the trend and actually rate Johnson for who he is - and he, if deployed correctly as you said, can have a big impact.

Same goes for the most part for everyone. I don't think people can have it both ways - and that isn't to say we don't need reinforcements but i think writing players off when you feel the manager was the biggest issue is a bit absurd.

Bissouma spent his first year looking poor, not enthusiastic and nothing like the player he had been at Brighton ...... under Conte

Minor improvement under Ange but still too many 3/10 performances.

One year left on his contract, and zero reason to extend it.

So he's the first player to upgrade on - some one consistent who wants to play for Spurs
