How would someone even know this, I’m convinced this account is a WUM. No better than ol’ Trix.

Would be my preference too. Baleba/Wharton would both cost over 70m I'd imagine so just doesn't feel like a move we'll make.I think we should be purchasing rather than loaning for such a key position, we need someone fully committed.
God no. I see zero signs he wants to commit to the game. Eze, Oshimen, Simmons, Guehi, Lookman, Douglas Luis. let's start behaving like a big club and shop from the top shelf where the filth is..
Yeah, but we know Levy doesn’t operate like that.God no. I see zero signs he wants to commit to the game. Eze, Oshimen, Simmons, Guehi, Lookman, Douglas Luis. let's start behaving like a big club and shop from the top shelf where the filth is..
With the business City and Liverpool are doing already, Chelsea as well to a certain extent, the odds on us getting top 4 or 5 must be getting longer.
Yup, and you could definitely play them both against certain opponents and situations.Have him share mins with Maddison for the no10 role, you'd see a serious level of competition for both players and they'd push each other.
Agreed. He'd turn up for the first game, and probably have a blinder before lapsing to type within weeks. I'd have taken him a few years ago, though.God no. Isn't that the goal though? It's not that long ago since we were legitimate top 3.
I can envisage a situation where Paratici is going to get us Douglas Luiz on the cheap. Maybe a loan with the option to buy..
And it would actually be good business. Currently, he's every bit as good as Wharton and Baleba although the other two are better long term signings. I'd love if we could splash 70-100m on one of them but thats just not Spurs.
Luiz fits the bill perfectly. 160k a week is steep but if we only have him on loan with no obligation then its a typical spurs move.

totally agree with Frank if that report is true.
Never understood the Gomes links. He's just a cheap squad player. Not convinced he'd even be an improvement on Bissouma who we are trying to upgrade!
