Player Mathys Tel

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Certainly better chance of becoming an elite player under Frank than Ange … I don’t see it but hope I’m wrong … Think it’s pretty Tel-ling that Bayern don’t seem to want to keep him despite plenty of minutes now being available with Sane leaving.

If Son and Richy leave, Odobert, Tel and Moore competing to start on the LW.

I've got a feeling that this boy is going to be absolutely mustard as he matures. I hope we do buy him.

Price needs to be right for us. £35m seems fair.

He’s just levels above anything I’ve seen come out of our academy in that position the last few years.

Can see him playing centrally more in the future and Mikey Moore getting time on the left if he also continues to improve his game.

Agree, he’s a CF eventually but the fact that he can play off the left and cross the ball as well as he hits shots means he’s massively useful even whilst he’s building his frame into a CF.

The thing that goes unnoticed imo is his eye for a through ball. He sees passes that others don’t and people don’t notice because they can’t quite peg what position they think he is yet.

I think this guy has serious potential, the way he glides with the ball and twists and turns- he has all the tools.

His decision making still needs to develop further but that’s expected given his age. I think he will get physically stronger, play more central, develop his decision making and become a very good goal scorer.

Bayern are trying to win the CL every year and expect to win the Bundesliga so developing a younger player like this is very far down their order of priorities. Spurs on the other hand seem to be wanting to go down the developing younger players route with Gray, Bergvall, Odobert, Moore - and Tel I believe and probably Vuskovic as well. That bunch could be absolutely mustard in 3 years
